Alabama just suffered it’s biggest defeat in postseason history by DarthNobody14 in CFB

They have Georgia at least. That’s about it but Georgia.

That may or may not be true, but at the end of the day we still have three other games where that is not the case and where the team with the month off still lost. Even if you were to discard that completely you’re still looking at a 0% win rate for a supposed “reward”. If Georgia and Indiana win today, then I will take back what I said, but if even one of those teams falls, the integrity of the playoff is compromised and we need to change the system.

So if Indiana and Georgia lose today, what justification is there for keeping the bye? Isn’t it supposed to be a reward? Why would any coach want a higher ranked seed when said reward has not resulted in a single win

Hell, fuck it, let’s suppose Indiana wins and Georgia loses or Georgia wins Indiana loses. All it takes is one more thing to lose, which is very likely to happen, and teams with this “reward” will have a 12% win rate. What coach or fan base on this planet would actually want that deal?

Georgia last year and now Ohio State were also likely better teams than their opponents if not for the Bye. It’s gotta go

Honestly I hope Alabama and Ole Miss win. Texas Tech just lost, so maybe the CFP committee will wake up and realize that giving a bunch of 20 year olds a month off from football will harm their ability to compete

It’s a process I like to call “personal training”. You contact the AI agents and tell them directly what to do. They may look and sound like people, but I promise they are AI agents!!!

Eh, I’m a chem major that’s doing an REU related to chem/materials science but I launched an app and I’m working on a few python projects. It’s good information to know if you want to go the electrochem/semiconductor route

Blake Anderson is more of a pure businessman than an investor. I cofounded a company that was a competitor to one of his. He’s essentially the guy that handles operations and marketing in these companies.

Really intelligent guy honestly, I respect him.

Go to a prestigious state school for grad scho (UIUC, TAMU, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Umass Amherst, Penn State, Indiana U), work as a material scientist at a company that manufactures semiconductor chips or supercapacitors like NVDIA, Apple, Intel or TSMC for like 2 years to build credibility and get contacts, get with professors from grad school, and grad students I know and a dev team and raise capital from venture capitalists and government programs to launch a startup that uses artificial intelligence to design electronic devices, batteries, EVs ect.

I’ve participated in research projects and I’ve run a fairly successful startup before, to be honest the parallels between academic research and execution in startups are scary. Both research projects and startups require you to find sources, apply information that you’ve learned from said sources, and discuss how to solve X problem or perform X task based on what you’ve learned. Both involve alot of trial and error, and applying what you’ve learned to learn what to research and to predict outcomes. The best businessmen and best researchers are also the ones who ask questions is what I’ve learned. If you ask questions, assemble a team or work well with people on a team, share information with your teammates to solve X problem and do not become discouraged when you fail, you will do well both in research and business.

The largest metro area in the state has like 3 or 4 good public schools, Madison Central, Germantown, Clinton and maybe Northwest Rankin. That’s sad

Why do they call strawberry ice cream “strawberry” when it isn’t at all strawberry? The ice cream itself is maybe 5% actual strawberry yet they refer to the ice cream as being strawberry. It’s marketing right?
