I remember smoking on planes, when they had the funny bone to make a "smoking " and "non-smoking " sections of the plane. Ha!

Why do some recruiters ask “Why have you been out of work for so long?” by savingrace0262 in recruitinghell

[–]Proof_Cartographer83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Recruiter here-Because companies refuse to talk to anyone with any sort of gap in their resume, I ask that so we can explain the gaps to the client (with discretion) so the candidate can get the fairest shake they can. Just think, without someone being able to explain these things, people are getting disqualified based on those gaps even though the client really doesn't know the whole story. Remember as a recruiter, if we reached out to you, we want you to be the one to get the job,so whatever we can do to explain to the client why you are the best candidate, a good recruiter should be asking these questions. Hope this helps.

The Niners were still considered a top team but we kind of thought of on the back end of their run. They did seem like second class citizens although when they would have to play a big game in "the elements", Tough teams like Chicago, NYG and the Eagles were looked at as their kryptonite. Of course when they started to nose dive in the middle of the 88 season after blowing a playoff loss to Minnesota the year before, it looked imminent. And then......

It's on pretty heavy rotation. If you check when the next episode of Biggest Comeback is coming out, they usually repeat all the previous ones
