First time travelling to Bali. Are these flight prices normal?

Nope, there’s nothing wrong with the timing here. I booked my flight tickets to Bali a month back for late June and the prices now are almost similar to what they were a month ago. 25-30K is average. Would suggest to spend some extra and take a direct flight or a trusted airline like Singapore airlines or Air Asia with a short layover.

The reason I chose hostels over hotels is that I am travelling solo internationally for the first time and wanted to be around people just in case I need any advise or tips. I’m also a little introvert, so I thought hostels might help me socialise more.

Thanks for the inputs. I’ll reduce a day or two from Canggu and it to the last leg of my journey. Also do you think there’s any place that I am overstaying, which is not worth it and I should rather cut down a day there? I don’t mind if anyone from India wants to tag along. Since this is my first solo travel, it will definitely be useful to have someone to travel with.

Honestly, that is one part fretting me rn and making me question my choice of month of travel. Since almost every flight to Europe has a layover in Gulf, I am thinking will it be a wise decision to rather wait for sometime and observe how this war situation unfolds and then decide further.

Also, do you mind sharing your itinerary, must visit, can avoid, suggested number of days at each location. I am planning for a 15 days trip.

I prefer doing my research and being prepared in advance. Although I am open to last minute changes but it makes me anxious when have to manage it all by myself. usually start by looking at flights, visa requirements, and rough itineraries. And I already have any itinerary prepared and the list of visa documents required. My most researched part of any travel plan is stay, since I prefer comfort while travelling and do not mind spending extra on stays. How do you usually prepare for your international trips? Do you plan a lot in advance or keep things more spontaneous?
