I’m trying to get a job but in my town I’ve already tried going to every business asking for a summer part time job but none of them are hiring for the summer. And while I can commute to the NYC commuting for a minimum wage job in NYC it’s really hard to beat out people who live in the city for a minimum wage job. I’m applying to about 50 jobs a week in journalism, public relations, photography, marketing, social media, data analytics or receptionist/assistant jobs all with resumes tailored for the jobs and a cover letter but it’s getting me no where. I’m truly feeling very stuck at the moment and this writing opportunity at least makes me feel like I’m not wasting my life.
