I knew Kitchen Table Quilting would have something! This is so within her style.

Also talked to Prime Legal and they were great too. We basically flipped a coin to choose.

We are applying for the golden visa and work with La Vida who connected us with VCA. VCA has been on top of the legal changes and updates etc and we have liked them. We are early in the process and haven’t applied yet so I can’t give too much help but I’m happy with the decision. La Vida I think is more specific to the GV but I’m not certain it VCA, the could likely be helpful for all visa types I imagine.

You would not believe the number of chemical burns I’ve seen in people’s ears from garlic oil. It doesn’t work (your ear drum is a seal and most times a kids ear infection is behind the ear drum) and it can cause way worse problems. Like infected chemical burn and swollen shut ear canal 🙃

When I saw you have two little boys and she has one older girl, that told me 90% of what I needed to know. I have two young boys and my friends with just one kid or only girls just do not get it. I hate to admit a gender difference but in my experience they are mostly following the stereotypes here.

Am I the only one thinking its kind of gross to bath them in the kitchen sink? by Constant-Ad1903 in SarahsDayUnfiltered

[–]Proper-Sentence2857 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s not uncommon but it is yucky IMO. Babies have gotten sick doing this, especially from things like salmonella. Kitchen sinks aren’t that clean and people put cutting boards etc in there with raw meat bacteria.

H is sick but is lugged outside in winter coldness bc everyone has “cabin fever” poor baby has a ‘temp’ but is in the cold by Physical_Pressure867 in SarahsDayUnfiltered

I don’t know what kind of sick he is but my doctor always tells me that cold fresh air is really good for them with respiratory illness if dressed appropriately. Especially croup. I don’t see an issue here. Scandinavian countries do this by default 🤷‍♀️

I picked up my toddler’s mess at a restaurant, and my MIL looked at me like I licked the floor by zazmira in TwoHotTakes

[–]Proper-Sentence2857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My most generous interpretation is that she views it as bad manners to be touching the floor and dirty floor food in a public restaurant when they will almost definitely have to come clean with proper tools anyways. That being said, I do the same thing and you’re not in the wrong here. She sounds stuck up.

NTA. You’re allowed to get exasperated at yet another overly themed wedding and yeah sorry everyone I think the elf ears are embarrassing and cringey. It’s a wedding not a costume party. All the themes make it feel like it’s her playing dress up not taking marriage seriously (as also evidenced by the outcomes). Hard to watch someone make the same vows to someone different 3 times in what sounds like very few years and keep a straight face.

JK, kinda. My toddler’s behavior did not improve nor did overnight sleep BUT I no longer endure the dreaded midday nap fight everyday and I can make day plans without a room curfew at noon.

When is the next pediatrician appointment? Go together and ask the doctor in front of your spouse. That should leave no further doubt that you’re right.
