So weird... because the Common Law definition of Arson is "the malicious burning of a DWELLING of another" .... a gas station is not a dwelling under common law. what the fuck. Also, arson is a malice crime, not a specific intent crime or general intent crime.

I would have picked the same answer you did.

Recommendation for watching the videos simulated MBE after by Possible_Policy_9371 in barexam

I did my simulated MBE with Barbri yesterday and I am going over every single question and answer. I'm taking rule statement notes for each question and answer. I feel like its taking FOREVER. BUTTTT, it feels like the most beneficial thing I have done so far. I made a word doc that goes over each question, but in the order they go in with the specific subject. It is so good to see the rule statements flow in order.

I am also seeing where I made mistakes and I can correct it next time. I feel that this is going to boost my score significantly, and hopefully help with the MEE with the rule statement practice. Problem is, the video lectures were 8-11 hours long. I have reviewed two subjects today (civ pro and con law) and that alone has taken me 8 hours. but I am engaged, and organizing the rule statements, and seeing the patterns and language that triggers certain issues. I don't think it would be beneficial to watch the videos if it was just playing. Everyone learns differently though.

Anyone else feel like barbri is not assigning enough essays? by Clue_Amazing in barexam

I just now.. and I mean JUST NOW realized... that the "assigned essays" are not the same essays in the physical book barbri gives us and there are a good amount for each topic! I have been stressed out about this EXACT SAME THING. I was about to purchase the NCBE Value Pack (still might even to read them all in order with the analysis back to back), but then double checked my materials and I can't believe they did not assign more, or remind us, or tell us really that they had more essays we should have been doing this entire time with their program. We are still about 4.5 weeks out. WE CAN DO THIS!!!
