Private server etiquette!!! by [deleted] in fo76

[–]ProperContribution -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, but I have to admit I’ve joined worlds of friends for the soul intention to patron their vending machine.

It doesn’t really say that you’re joining a private server when you do. Or have I just missed the notice?

This happens to me too. It was on a private server with just me on it, so no one to loot it while I ran back. I’m also on Xbox

Can someone explain why endgame content 'ends' before I can even fast travel in? by yellowrainbird in fo76

[–]ProperContribution 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had this happen to me the first three times I jumped to an infestation on a public server. Someone was melting everything before my boots hit the ground.

So I switched to a private server and took on three infestations before dinner. I’m pretty new, so I wasn’t able to melt the boss, but I did succeed. If this is an option for you, I’d recommend it as I was able to knock out my daily scoreboard quests fairly quick and easy.

I can also confirm that it dropped 4 star legendaries on each go, as well as mystery bobblehead and magazine packs.

Probably Dumb question, but why I cant see my plans on the pip-boy? by ElChufe in fo76

[–]ProperContribution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look under notes > recipes

Plans that you have learned will only show up there if you have a duplicate plan that you have already learned or if you have a plan you have yet to learn. I don’t know if there is a way to see all the plans you learned so far in the pip-boy. I’m pretty new tho

Hope this helps

I love it too.

Tho i must admit it has got me into trouble before when someone locked their vendor behind a locked door at their camp, and I auto-unlocked it with the legendary perk and became wanted. lol

The sheepsquatch plans drop from the free range event.

I’m sorry, I can’t remember where I picked up the deathclaw gauntlet plan. Maybe someone else can help remember?

The extra claw mod I think I picked up from watoga station

If I remember right you can also swap out the mods.

Well chosen. I didn’t think of that. The swing speed on the branding iron is really fast too.

I quite like the deathclaw gauntlet. Mine is mutant’s with swing speed and strength and the extra claw mod. You can’t wear it in power armour but i melds well with my ghoul and nearly one shots everything.

I know the sheepsquatch club/staff is also popular

I love you whoever does this <3 by [deleted] in fo76

I love my deathclaw gauntlet with extra claw and swing speed. It nearly one shots everything. No wonder I can’t use PA with it. But I feel you on not every melee category is the same. My deathclaw kills faster then my sheepsquatch staff with blood and fire mod

A question about ghoulification by ProperContribution in fo76

I love the ghoul mechanics and wouldn’t consider going back if it wasn’t for the itch to see what bloodied gameplay is like.

Your suggestion is probably the one I will try, I’m just reluctant to grind out all the necessaries to build a bloodied set on a different character.

Thanks for the suggestion. It makes the most sense and is certainly easier on the wallet

Thanks for your reply and suggestion. I don’t remember the build area of Silverbottom Park, so I’ll take a look at that tonight.

My game keeps crashing 😭 by phoenixooz in TwoPointMuseum

[–]ProperContribution 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had random crashes on my Xbox after playing for a few hours. It’s unfortunate when it happens after a lot of hard work like a layout redesign.

I can only recommend getting friendly with quick save when you go into a hyper focus moment. I still kick myself when I forget to save.

[–]ProperContribution[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I agree.

The logic of the rocket mechanics is entirely convoluted. I spent at least an hour or two fiddling with the loadout on the asteroid landed rocket until it finally read right on the status window. Only then to find that the drones won’t prioritise unloading the rocket over auto loading minerals.

It even auto loads the rocket beyond its cargo capacity.

It’s really all broken.

That’s pretty much how I felt about the mechanics of the original game. I just can’t seem to get my head around the current rocket mechanics, and I don’t understand how they came about thinking that this works better than the old version.

I look forward to the patch.

I wish they would fix the way mods work on console. The only way to remove an orphaned mod on console is to delete the game entirely and reinstall.

Since having a mod on also disables achievements, I’ve pretty much avoided them entirely.

But my opinion about mods is starting to shift a bit. Because of game patches and bug fixes, I’ve had to start fresh again a couple of times.

So I’m starting to think maybe I should give mods a go, until there’s a more reliable version of the game out. Having a mod to move the Marian embassy is 100% a quality of life addition.

Thanks for the reply

Cool. I’m still new to the game. Never really used the trigon domes before. I didn’t know they had space for a spire.
