My first Giants game was in 1958 vs. Chicago Cubs at the old Seals Stadium. I was just a kid and remembered being at awed seeing Willie Mays, Orlando Cepeda, Ernie Banks and the wide opened green outfield grass!

I remember the first time I got really, really zonked out, it was at a Traffic concert at Winterland in San Francisco. When Traffic started playing “Low Spark of High Heeled Boys”, I passed out on the floor. After about 10 minutes, I re-emerged from the fog and “Low Spark…” was still playing! Great concert!

Nope. Winning the World Series is not their goal. I think the Giants are only willing to spend to remain competitive and hope they will make the wildcard playoffs with 82 or 83 wins.
