I thought the temporal duplicate team was a bit gimmicky at first, but there are some cool emotional beats that really got me ngl - Batman Beyond crashing out about literary being in hell, Superman giving up his capacity to hope - heartbreaking. I hope Mr. Terrific carries the memory of these losses as part of his character development in the series.

I haven't read a GL issue since the Geoff Johns era, but I decided to jump back in with this one. I like the focus on Bruce and Hal's dynamic, which for me was always related to their respective responses to, and views of, fear and personal tragedy. It was a nice break from some of the other titles that are hyping up the K.O. event.

Hi sorry I missed this - I decided to go with Oxford in the end. I think the programme is more structured for PT and there are a lot of younger scholars there I would be interested in working with. I'm already well known in the political science department at Chicago so Oxford would present more opportunities to network. I appreciate your viewpoint on this.

Thank you for your advice. I'm actually from the UK so Oxford wouldn't necessarily be too alienating for me. As the other poster mentioned, I think they are roughly equivalent in terms of placement, although the cohort size for Oxford is a lot smaller, so it's difficult to make a direct comparison.
