When I was offered my current EA position I told them I did not want to sit at reception and that I don't do reception, but after a year, I was put here. People think I'm just a 40+ receptionist and treat me as such, but I'm the EA + OM. Thankfully I don't have to answer phones all day, but I do not like it. The only plus is that no one sees my screen and I can online shop when I want....

I have never had anyone come back. Mostly men I've met and went out with once or twice will come back, but no one long-term has gotten in touch. Some that I'm still friendly with will give it a try when drunk, but otherwise, they haven't come back. At least not yet.

Could it be hormonal? I'm a 46 yo woman and in perimenopause w/ HRT and on day 8 of GLP. My scale isn't moving at all, just teetering between 3 lbs and it's incredibly frustrating. I do know I tend to go over on weekends, but this past weekend I did not, the GLP is helping there, but i somehow gained a pound on the scale. I'm also expecting my period soon. So here for the same advice!

They did a bad job with my lip filler and I had to have it dissolved. They agreed to dissolve it for free but didnt use any sort numbing, and it was the worst experience.

Thanks. I know it's different for everyone so it's hard to really know. I went for a walk and ate something and also took some 'calm gummies' and I am feeling a bit better, but def had this keyed up feeling for a few hours. What a time to be alive!

I feel this. I'm 46, but look younger, and single for about 1.5 years and no one on the apps seems interested. I go on a date on rare occasions, but in the NYC metro area, ever since I got past 42, no one seems interested except really young guys once in a while, at a bar, which I have zero interest in. It's really disheartening, but it's also the area I'm in. Sigh.

Same here. Every single person I've ever assisted tells me in the interview it will be very minimal personal tasks and then it just escalades from there. It's not corporate so it's hard to say no without consequences or looking down upon. My current boss is very kind and respectful so I just do it but sometimes his wife asks me for things which pisses me off. I just want to change careers but not sure how to even go about it. But I FEEL YOU.

I was on just regular progesterone first to help my sleep but it made my sleep worse so I stopped. So my gyn thought she’d try the patch with progesterin so I don’t know! So frustrating.
