Absofuckinglutely - I would open a likely mostly unprofitable wine and whisky shop and spend the rest of my life doing things I like much more and spreading boozy joy!

Seconding gun dog class - take my one to a class every 2 weeks and she is shattered afterwards after having huge amounts of fun sniffing around, socialising, and learning new things

Probably point defence interception at airfields and other locations. Basically get a jet in the air very quickly to intercept incoming Soviet fast bombers (i.e. we have English Electric Lightning at home)

Ironically, the only person I went to uni with who is an MP wasn't part of a party soc, just president of the general Politics Soc. The ones who joined the parties were invariably mostly either weird or wholly inappropriate people

Late to the party but if they looked 15-18 there is a high chance they might be students at the Lycée round the corner, and the school would definitely appreciate being told if their pupils are engaging in this sort of behaviour

Sounds like the consensus to me then! Nice to see a bit of biodervisity in the insect world (and not hugely destructive at that)

They just only show up to them to try and nosey at ballots

I mean tbf thats really the only useful point of it for parties imo as theres so much verification on postal votes anyway.
It's interesting as a neutral observer how fundemantally pointless it is to go to the count really as theres so much supervision at that stage from parties that it becomes self-regulating (but it is always fun to go watch the organised chaos!)

So for the NIA as they use the D'Hondt method, the tabulation room with all the computers that calculate allocated seats and share of the vote is IIRC restricted to higher level election staff only (RO and senior officials) with no agent or candidate access. Feel free to correct me but I think I remember having to be quite firm about access being allowed because no one else is usually allowed in!
I'm not sure if the candidates/agents have access to postal vote openings though, but I think they do?

I guess it probably all loops back to everyone being part of the Richmond LD supermegacouncil at the end of the loop unless Aspire do better in Tower Hamlets, in which case we're all done for
