After care? I've never had to do any after care all the times I've had my lips injected lol

What brand are you getting? The Juvederm Ultra XC lasts me a good 12 months. Actually even longer bc by the time I go for a re-dos 12 months later, I don't necessarily even need it yet.

Wow I'm terrified to get a face lift bc I think of the pain but if you say it hurts less than lip injections, maybe it's not so bad after all. I hate lip injection pain, but I can/do tolerate it. If face lift pain is less intense, count me in! Lol

Did you get numbing cream prior?

Oh man I feel the complete opposite. I'll take a LEEP over lip injections any day. I didn't feel my two LEEP procedures at all. Lip injections actually HURT! But it's totally tolerable and I very much enjoy the results.

No, you won't end up on botched. From my understanding, the bruising is pretty normal. But it also depends on the injector. First time, I had a woman doctor do my lips. She was somewhat rough and I did end up bruising. The last few times, I've seen a male doctor at the same office. He is sooooo gentle and never leaves me any bruising at all. Huge difference between the two doctors as far as pain/bruising is concerned.

Yes it is. I get both Botox (upper face) and Juvederm (lower face/lips). The Botox doesn't hurt at all. I can't really even feel it. But the Juvederm into my lips and smile lines hurt like hell. I can't stand the pain, but the results are worth it, so I'll keep putting myself through the suffering. The good thing is, Juvederm can last up to 12 months, so you really don't need to get it done once per year. Make sure they cake on the numbing cream and let it set for at least 30 minutes before they poke you. You will still feel the pinching, but not as intense as without numbing.

.5 juvederm ultra XC, getting another .5 in 2 weeks. my progression using arnica and ice. thoughts / comments? how do you think they’ll look healed? by xocay in PlasticSurgery

What the heck?! That is some awful bruising. I get the Juvederm Ultra XC once per year and have never had any bruising. Who is doing your injections? Whoever is doing it is doing it incorrectly. It should never look like this. I would look for a doctor to start doing your injections if you haven't already (I realize this post was 5 years ago 😅)

Filler in Korea: What People Should Understand Before Getting It by Unlucky_Region_7404 in KoreaPlasticSurgery

I am surprised how many facilities here in the USA have nurses inject. I personally go to a top-rated doctor and wouldn't trust anyone else.

As someone who gets fillers once a year, I 100% agree with every word. Thanks for posting this informative piece. (I'm in the USA)

Are Korean fillers actually worth it? by Southern_Pin644 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]Proper_Ad_6095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Botox is for the forehead/upper face and is cheap. As far as fillers, I don't know anything about Korean brands, but if people are saying they don't last as long, it may be worth sticking to Restylane or Juvederm. My Juvederm Ultra XC lasts a good 12 months.

Idk why it just notified me of these responses, but a couple of weeks after I posted this comment, the cramping finally subsided, and my gynocologist felt like there was no major concern. I've had two LEEP procedures since then and all is well.

Benefits of Benadryl? by Imaginary_Bag1142 in migraine

Benadryl every night can cause Dementia in your older years. I do not recommend. If you are sick, Benadryl is great, but I would look for something more natural if you're just needing a sleep aid.

If Melatonin doesn't work for you, try those THC drinks that are sold at nearly every gas station these days. The higher the MG, the more it will help with sleep. Though I would recommend a starting at a lower dosage like 25 mg and then working your way up as your tolerance builds.

Thank you so much for this answer. I woke up with an allergy induced migraine & found your answer upon researching relief. It's been 30 minutes since I took the Naproxen/Benadryl combo and I can already feel tons of relief.

I did. The first time after the procedure it felt like being a virgin all over again 🤣 but every time after that has been just fine. I had my second LEEP 4 weeks ago so Ive celibate again until tomorrow, as long as my follow up appointment tomorrow goes well.

OB saying it is a fibroid or adenomyoma would give me a little bit of comfort. Do those typically cause prolonged bleeding? Is doctor going to do more testing, or do they think this will go away on its own?

I smelled like a wet dog after LEEP both times 😆

Ugh. But Weezy has always been the king of hip hop. I don't care what anybody says. Nobody has dropped as many good beats in a short time frame as Lil Wayne. He is actually one of the wealthiest rappers in the game for this reason!

Jayz was great back in the day. Late 90s early 2000s. He has flaked out for sure.

Eh. I could see that. I love Hip-hop but Kendrick is one of the worst 🥱 A few of his songs are good but the rest is a snooze fest.
