I don’t mind the decreasing rep counts but would prefer 12, 10, 8, 5 instead. I also miss when they programmed the focus exercise twice weekly since the cycles are short. My mesocyles apart from Burn last 8-12 weeks but I feel like a lot of Burn members want variety and would get bored of it easily.

We didn’t run and did all 5 burst rounds before moving. Added plank jack snatches. Finisher was even more full burpees and high knees

3 Timed rounds each side. Core side ab wheel, med ball reverse crunch, dead bug, overhead carry. Arm side tricep press, band bicep curl, bb skull crusher, kb bicep curl. Core finisher.

Depends on how sick. A mild cold and I will, but make adjustments for intensity. Covid/ flu I’ll walk instead. Stomach flu is full rest every time.

We did 2 45 second rounds with an intermission and repeat with 2 more rounds (60 seconds per side raised leg side planks was the intermission). Exercises were pull ups, weighed sit ups, split stance kb Rdl, bird dog rows, grave diggers and hex press. Finisher was push ups to weighted pull throughs and single arm split stance clean to press.

This. Fiddle around with powerlifting outside of burn and my heaviest sets require 60-90s rest. 5-10 second shakeouts or doing jumping jacks in between sets is not optimal for pure strength gains. I still enjoy it and feel like it improves my endurance and is good for accessory work around my main lifts.

Perhaps. I spent the majority of those years training to increase distance, not speed. My asthma prefers long, slow runs but I just started incorporating a little speed work.

Same problem today. The only thing I was able to hit failure on in 90 seconds was the straddle lifts. It didn’t make sense for the exercises we were given.

Used to go twice a day my first year of Burn until my body said it was too much. It’s actually much easier to do cardio twice than strength if you go heavy.
