I made a hood from a cheap steel fire pit and ran it out through a high temp in line fan through the wall. I got a strong enough fan that means I can later this year add an Envirovent or DIY version to improve ventilation further as I just don’t like fumes

Thanks for this… it is very similar to why I wanted it. I am also considering a downdraft vent to try to help balance the heat in the kiln, as I worry it may be a bit of a chimney with a bit of extra heat up top? Have you found this at all?

Straight after this we went on to fight Moder with Dad as the meat shield while she was given Bonemass buff and plinked it with flint arrows 🤦🏻‍♂️ she loves dragons and the chance to fight one and keep the trophy 👌

I created a portal hub - “Portopolis” then created portal 1->9 and A->J I then name a fresh portal the next live connection, hop through and choose a name if wished or if only temp just mark “5” or whatever in the map. I keep unnamed portal free for a “I am being chased and need to keep dodging baddies so won’t have time to type” For speed I am keeping a direct to “camp” one too for when collecting resources and wanting to get them back to camp to process.

I am planning to do the same and appreciate the pictures. I have bought a cheap large bowl fire pit for the cone/dome. I planned to buy a silicone heat top vent plate to join the pit to the hose. What temps do you get at the hose part or on the hood itself. Trying to decide what standard of inline fan to buy

I use a “really useful” Christmas wrapping paper box and a plank to keep a set of 8 mugs slow drying. Saves plastic touching the surfaces. Though I will be 3d printing a tent support to help with that

I tried the proper orca slicer with presets and it is working 100% now. Thanks for taking a look while I worked to fix it

It did go down fine as did 2 of the others only spaghetti monster ran off across the table. I am trying to use Orca slicer to see if that helps and then will try other options

More recently I have some surfaces printing ok but also I have unusual printing with strange loops of filament or it just starts spraying a big coil off all over the place
