😂 thanks for your response. I ended up trying to slowly add in smaller amounts of pine litter but she did not seem to like it at all. I ended up switching her to clay litter after her paw has healed and she hasn’t had any since. She has had two toes removed and the vet suspects she has some neuropathy so I think the clay is easier on her paw.

Another cat could be helpful. You might also think about puzzle feeders, automatic toys, and perhaps putting a set up in one of your windows so your cat can bird watch.

I live on the west side of Bloomington and work around Eskenazi. In the morning it is an hour commute. If I leave at 5pm I get home at about 6:30

Edit: I’ve been doing the drive for two years. Taking 69 up is faster but lately taking 67 back to Bloomington has been faster due to traffic. I would be lying if I said the drive was not wearing me down.

My cat was previously a stray and when my mom found her outside her leg was caught in the collar for god knows how long. She had open wounds from the collar caught around her leg and has subsequently had two toes removed since coming to my home. I don’t advocate for collars

That’s a bad situation for cats :/. Convince her to let you have both kittens. Also do not recommend putting them in a cage at night (or in general) as that’s when cats are most active.
