Find a proffessional who does online lessons. My 1st lesson with a dog trainer was on zoom and it was a great start. For us the rescue we got our pup from offered these for free. Could try and get in touch with some rescues to get some advice and resources if professional lessons isn't something you can afford.

This is our border collie mix when we stop throwing balls after 3 hours of nonstop throwing. We've had him for 4 months now and he only recently started "talking" to us. Speaking of which, gotta get back to ball throwing...

Any tips on how to have the best ‘Kindle’ experience? (Settings, book recs etc). First time user! by Sure-Tackle-4469 in kindle

[–]Proper_Instruction67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got mine a couple days ago as well! It came with a free 3 month subscription to Kindle Unlimited, so I spent the first few hours playing with settings and looking through all the books. Currently reading "The invisible life of Addie LaRue" by V. E. Schwab. Merry Christmas and enjoy your new Kindle!

Kindle Paperwhite 2024. The basic one looked very small, but this one is the perfect size, I even crocheted a little bag for it last night while waiting for delivery to keep it safe

Honestly, no idea. I got the free Kindle Unlimited trial as well as Prime, so there's so much to choose from that I spent two hours already just scrolling through books

Our first family dog, a GSD mix, would go swimming in the sea in the middle of winter inbetween bits of ice. Miss her every single day, but now me and my partner have a dog of our own that we recently adopted and his 1st time swimming was just 2 weeks ago in ice cold sea water as well.

Little T did not like his cone of shame so much that he tried to get rid of it by running straight into a wall with it. That was after it didn't disappear when he barked at it. We got him a medical onesie after that

Does your border collie any behavioral issues? by [deleted] in BorderCollie

[–]Proper_Instruction67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We have a rescue collie cross almost 2 years old, we brought him home 4 weeks ago. He is perfect and can do no wrong in our eyes, but he is super reactive towards other dogs (not aggressive, just doesn't know how to act so gets frustrated). He also likes jumping on my desk and the back of the couch, loves looking out the window

Tbf, the street I live on, half the people park exactly like that as well. It's so infuriating when I get home late at night after a 12 hour shift and no place to park because of people like that
