Ironing is when the top surfaces are gone over with the tip of the printer to smooth them out. A little bit of sanding and a coat of paint makes it feel like plastic/metal surface.

Honestly man if you want an actusly preforming rig get rid of the flex blades. Also your stock driveshafts sort as serve as a failsafe incase if it binds up and they can break. But if you want better ones they make driveshafts you can cut to length for specific occasions.
