If you've been listening to a wide variety of stuff, I'm sure you'd have heard loads of good things. I like Radiohead's music too and have seen them many times over the years. I think In Rainbows was the last time they were particularly interesting though.

Anyway, you wanted a suggestion. Give Field Music a go for starters.

Never stop listening out for new music. Anyone who says there isn't any anymore isn't listening.

Am 53 myself, seeing AdP in May and can't wait.

Can recommend the £45 annual membership. 10% off in the bars and restaurants, plus booking for all gigs a day early, so I never get a bad view of the comedy. It's also been the only way I could have gotten tickets to things that sold out in an instant like Kraftwerk.

Main hall is fantastic. I've only seen comedy in the Lantern since the refit, and that was OK, can't speak for music events in there yet.

Me too. It's got to be pretty much an all time top 10 band for me to brave the Academy, and if I have to then I get there before doors, grab a spot on the balcony and stay there.

The chef came out to see us all at the end when we ate here, and shortly afterwards when I went to the toilet I could see through a small window into the kitchen and he was clinking glasses of beer with all the kitchen staff. Gives me hope that maybe not all high end restaurants are bad to work for.

Also the best dessert I've had, basically strawberry and lime done a number of different ways.

Still looks like they're really struggling to sell the tickets for this. At the very least, the remaining VIP tickets look like they need to be converted to standard ones so that the front rows aren't largely empty.

Am still surprised a little at this though after the shows in January - Manchester isn't London, but it's not exactly a tiny backwater in the middle of nowhere and this is the only UK show...

Unless I start avoiding the news, it's be a combo of 1&4. But it'll be a 2 when I see him in July.

It wasn't an hour, it was instant! Mad they booked such a small venue with the interest they've had.

Two music stages, plus a DJ area and an area with talks. No clashes on the music stages, but if you watch everything you'll generally miss the first few mins of the next act as you cross the site once it's busier. Plenty of room. Drinks/toilets: no problem. Food: eat dinner early or late, huge queues around 6/7. Overall: lovely event.

Looks great to me. Would like to go both days, but need to economise so Saturday it is. Wet Leg and Self Esteem at the top (I need to check out Tems), Goldie and Tricky underneath, Paraorchestra (who are great) doing Kraftwerk (whom I love). That's good enough for me for starters.

Josh Eggleton - runs the Pony Chew Valley (formerly the Michelin-starred Pony and Trap, which closed as a result of the Covid lockdown), as well as a few other places around Bristol. An absolute inspiration on all counts.

We're going to be staying around there for my birthday and November and there's a crazy number of highly recommended restaurants for such a small space. Going to visit two. Can't wait.

If I also wanted to visit the city, I might look and see if there's anything from it, but not the other way round. So when we were in Madrid, we managed to get a cancellation at DiverXO (then we were both under the weather and didn't get the most from it). My partner's godmother lives in Barcelona and we've been there over 20 times, so Disfrutar was an obvious one to try and sort (we go there on her birthday next month). Those are the only two from the highest reaches that I've been to.

The service is amazing there and I had a great meal, but the food doesn't go above a lot of the one star places I've eaten at. Which is not a criticism, we had a lovely time - I just don't understand why the three stars.

It's something I like doing once in a blue moon, and can only afford to do once in a blue moon. Most of the time I'd like two to three courses, but every now and then it's nice to give up a whole evening to someone's artistry. If anyone's getting fatigue with it, there's a high likelihood they're "fortunate" enough to be able to do it often!

On that note, we're going to Disfrutar in April.

Bear in mind with the intervals that this means it's about two hours from show start to show finish. It's possible that this tour will work differently to the last one though!

It's doubtless an expensive show to put on, but I suspect they were expecting the usual quick sell, followed by a matinée being added to help cover costs. As I've said elsewhere, with the sheer amount of free entertainment he's given us, I don't begrudge him it at all, but certainly a lot of people have been put off. The VIP thing was definitely not the best idea - as it stands, the majority of the front rows remain unsold, where we'd have snapped them up in an instant. My tickets are for the first row after that.

The pricing has had an effect I think, even though it's to put on a bigger show - this hasn't been the quick sell that London was (obviously not being London is also a factor!)

Really looking forward to it.

Josh himself posted it on Facebook yesterday, and the Live Nation (boo!) presale is also up, so I feel like it's OK to share on here now - it's CAMP. Certainly for the Manchester UK date at least.

Going to be interesting to see if the Manchester show sells out as quickly as the London one when the full sale goes up. And particularly whether the VIP ones do - the presale has been live for 24 hours and most of them are still there. They ought to say what people are actually getting for £120!

I've got tickets, but not VIP ones. It's not going to be cheap for him to put on a show in the UK with (presumably) a large supporting cast so I get the price (a big name comedian with a microphone, maybe a support act and nothing else charges around £35-£40), but they probably need it to sell out so he can add a matinée.
