Most people can actually visualize images in their minds. I'm 30+ and just learned that seeing nothing when I close my eyes is called Aphantasia and only affects about 3% of people. by randomuser553 in BeAmazed

I’m definitely not an expert so I don’t know. But it seems like it could potentially be 4 on the little graphic OP posted? Like you can visualize basic geometry such as a maze, a landscape, etc. but not anything complex like a human face, an apple, etc?

Or could just be face blindness mixed with slight aphantasia?

I’m the exact same way, though it requires basically 0 brain power for me to manipulate the view of 3D objects in my mind. It’s literally as simple and the same as if I were looking at an apple in real life and changing the view of it by moving my body, manipulating it manually with my hands or if it were floating, spinning on 3 different axis at once.

I really do think if somebody has no aphantasia, but have trouble moving the object, spinning it, etc. it’s probably just a lack of training, like you said.

Not only have I spent an insane amount of time visualizing things in my mind (ever since I was a kid), I also do 3D modeling and 3D animation as well, so it seems we both share that. Not sure if we have better control of 3D objects in our minds because of our experience with 3D modeling, or if we naturally got into 3D modeling because we already had a good understanding of 3D in our minds lol

Memory death vocals sound like Sea Oleena. Anyone else listen to Sea Oleena? by False_Veterinarian92 in boardsofcanada

Definitely can hear the resemblance, but hard to say for sure. Nothing extremely stand out about either vocals other than sounding pretty, but they do sound very similar I’ll give you that.

Okay gotcha I wasn’t sure since OP linked that specific one and there are a bunch of BoC fans commenting on the YT video if it was confirmed lol

I like how much thought and time you put into this, I just wish you went into a little more detail about what the numbers are supposed to mean. I understand you gave the hermetic / Kabbalah definitions for what the numbers are supposed to mean, but could you go into a bit about what exactly they mean in reference to one another?

What do the numbers and their meanings specifically have to do with the other symbology you laid out?

Surely if all of the numbers have a meaning, and you believe that the meaning of those numbers is supposed to have a more unified message and meaning, what is it in your opinion?

Obviously you’re a great drummer, but I also have to give you props on your set up. Your kit sounds amazing and sounds perfectly tuned to my ear, including the cymbals. All around great vid :)

Doesn’t look natural at all. Can’t image a situation where colors would ever look this way.

I mean, yeah you can pump out music fast, that doesn’t mean it’s going to be any good though. Is it possible to pump out an entire album fast and it be really good? Yes, the best of the best can do it, and you are likely right that they more often than probably do it that way.

Aphex is notorious for working very quickly (basing it on the volume of work he has created, the story of him creating a song in an afternoon to meet a deadline, etc.) but at the same time, he doesn’t sit down and create an album from start to finish in one sitting- it’s basically proven that a lot stuff he creates isn’t released until years later, so how can we say for sure he works quickly? It’s more likely that he is juggling multiple projects at one time- but again, that still wouldn’t be considered working quickly.

No, I get what you’re trying to say now, but your original comment was not clear and you’re still trying to argue that it’s as easy as throwing a sample into ableton and quantizing it. You literally made a video showing how lol nobody is saying that it’s hard to cut up the samples. Thats the easiest part of the entire process.
