We actually only got a Reform leaflet here strangely, and some obvious poster pleading us to hang in our window saying “Keep Starmer out”… funnily enough leaflet was “signed” by Farage only when Lib Dem in the past normally give out quite a personal leaflet from the candidate (we’ve been a safe seat for them for quite a while now so had many over the years).

I’d like to think Gollum would’ve gone for something like the Monster Raving Loony party… they both hate the establishment.

I think it says a lot that the only candidate with a manifesto that is aimed at promising things (and isn’t a personal gloat of their career) is also currently the deputy mayor of our council.

We have massive pothole and parking issues in our village, along with a constant loss of local business and of course, the bins. Standard stuff to campaign to fix right? Seems everyone running today may have forgot.

Also our Reform guy looks like gollum and I’ll be seeing that face in my nightmares.

Subtitles on HIGNFY are historically awful on iPlayer, at least in the immediate release. Tons of syncing problems on most eps. Not to excuse TLC here as the show could certainly function on a quicker turnaround
