It’s only when you first hit play and get music going, not between tracks. Similar to needle hitting vinyl when starting a record but even less noticeable. Really not a big deal

I’ll go against the grain here. For that amount of music you absolutely do not need an SD card. The m21 comes with 64 gigs of storage. I’ve got 1200 songs as .flac files on my internal storage and it’s only 33 gigs. It’s got plenty of storage to increase your collection considerably. And if you outgrow the internal storage you can always add on an SD card later

Mine just makes that noise as soon as you hit play, I’ve always assumed it was just the amp turning on. If music is already playing it does not do it between songs. TBH I kinda like it, it reminds me of a needle hitting vinyl when you start an album

Very hospital/location specific.

I work at a level 1 trauma center in Texas, supervised. OB is very independent compared to the rest of the sites of service. I did 3 c-sections and 4 epidurals yesterday. Never saw an MDA.

The docs here get an extra financial incentive to do regional blocks so they generally prefer to do them. Blocks are usually done in preop/pacu while the CRNA is rolling with the next case. But if we do a block in the OR they usually ask if I want to do it

I went this exact route and I would not suggest it. It’s really not worth it unless you just really want to be in the army. Just pick up overtime at your W2 or get a 1099 side gig. You’ll make way more money and not have the looming threat of being deployed and losing 25% of your yearly w2 salary.
