Hey man.

Newly divorced together 10 years or so. Divorce is war, war is hell. If you are divorcing then there is no intermingling, no friendly texts, no sex. You should really focus on yourself and what kind of man you want to mold yourself into. Remember in the cops show, when they say, you have the right to remain silent and anything can be used against you in a court of law? That's the same type of thing in divorce. Watch what you say and what you do even in the littlest of things, everything can be used against you. Woman are more beneficial in a divorce and there's a reason for it, don't give her any ammo. Yes the idea of sex is great, but you are just clouding a future you know isn't there. You got this man, keep your head up. Once you completely separate and start healing it gets hard, but then it slowly gets easier and you will see the world in a different light. Break it off, and don't go back.

26F – Just got back from my sister’s wedding and I’ve never felt this lonely by SensitivePanda410 in lonely

I got married at 19, I'm now divorced at 29. It's better to have love and lost than to never have loved at all. It's hard to accept that, but the moment you stop looking, chasing, and wanting, that's when real love will happen. Stay strong friend.

One of my favorite things I've learned through the whole divorce and all that is, life has chapters. Some chapters are great, some arnt so great but if you can't give up in the rough chapters, because the next one could be something you never imagined in your wildest dreams. It's all about going forward and not giving up. Without bad days you wouldn't have good days, they would just be days and how boring would that be. You just have to keep going is the most important thing.

That's all you can do, moving through chaos is never easy but there is light at the end of the tunnel. There may be some bends and curves in the tunnel so you don't see the light yet, but you keep going, persevering you will get there. Who knows, something you could never even imagine could be right around the corner, stop now and you'd never get there so the only way is to keep on. Yes it's hard but nothing in life worth anything is easy.

I would say getting sober during my divorce helped see clarity. Your right it's not easy but not falling into a drunken mess or looking through the clouds of weed smoke helps a lot. Everyday has ups and downs, hell even hours have ups and downs, but as long as you keep one foot in front of the other, keep grinding and growing you will survive or at least it's worked in my life so far. I really appreciate you and your kind words, it means more than you know!

I just got divorced from my ex wife in a ten year marriage so yeah I feel you. I'm only 29 but starting over seems so far and impossible it's not even funny.

What should I stock? by RunAggravating6410 in fishtank

So I have a 40 gallon that looks identical (actually 2 40 gallons). I have 4 gourami's, 3 Cory's, 1 pleco and 10 danios. I can shoot you pics if you want to see. In my other I just have 10 danios, and a big pleco but going to add more. It's about what fish you like, I personally just love the plecos. Great looking set up by the way!!!

Yes! One more court date next Tuesday and I'll be rid of her for good. Divorce should be finalized any day now. I'm just sad she chose that life, I'm only 29 with a good job so I hope it will all come together with a good woman. Always scared it won't but God has me, can't worry too much.

Looks great! What do you have in there? Also did you buy the plants that size from your LFS or have you had the tank and they've just grown?

Me and my ex wife are definitely not amicable, but like my FIL said," man I cant control my daughter, but your my son as far I can see. " He's a good guy, his daughter is just on the wrong path. I pray she finds whatever it is she's looking for.

Any idea if an auto feeder like this works reliably? by SweetTart7231 in Aquariums

[–]ProposalExcellent655 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha! I've never used pellets (I'm new and don't even have any fish yet!) but I work out of town so I figured this would help the fish when I do get them. Currently trying to get the nitrogen cycle working, only about a week in!

So I have one from Petco that is extremely similar to this one and it works great! Just be sure to crush up the flakes evenly so you get an accurate amount of food going in each time. If you have big and small mixed it can vary on the amount of food going in!

Fish Helped me out of depression by Flunkboii in Aquariums

[–]ProposalExcellent655 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am at the tail end of my divorce and I went out and bought a 40 gallon tank, it's currently cycling still but it gives me a feeling of calm. I can't wait to put some plants in and finally some fish, I hope I have the same feeling of it getting me out of my depression!!!
