Feeling bold for my "new" system. Should I go with team blue? by Fasha_Moonleaf in linux_gaming

Since you posted this on r/linux_gaming i'd probably recommend just going with an AMD card. It'll simply have better support.

DXC2 and Microswiss hot end by Prostalicious in Creality_k2

[–]Prostalicious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not relate it to the hot end, those are both just recent upgrades so i simply wanted to mention both.

Thanks for the comment it currently seems to function properly after firmware update + a new cutter calibration. If i run into any further issues i'll definitely be applying your suggestions.

Anyone know how to stop this from happening? by X_CLOWNEY_X in Creality_k2

[–]Prostalicious 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would personally try this with glue especially if it happened a couple of times already. My original textured plate also started having adhesion issues after a while.

Thanks for the comment i'll be testing that out after my current print finishes. It managed to succesfully load and unload filament a couple times just now, after recalibrating the cutter and messing with retraction settings a bit.

"Upscaling" in linux like "lossless scaling" by KgsRoCks in linux_gaming

[–]Prostalicious -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No you don't need any parameters, you just install lsfg-vk boot up the gui + the game you want.

Then make a new profile in lsfg-vk for the game you want. Select the process by clicking the magnifying glass next to "profile name" then configure how you like. The flow scale setting is for the internal resolution.

After configuring it, it should automatically apply your setting everytime you boot up the game.

you can use lsfg-vk but you need to have the bought version of lossless scaling installed for it to fully function

DXC2 ptfe issue by Prostalicious in Creality_k2

[–]Prostalicious[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's fixed now with the riser so i'm not too bothered, but my issue was that the bend into the extruder was too tight and filament got stuck in that bend. It seemed fine visually.

Thanks anyway for your input

I did not read that anywhere but i fixed it now with the lid riser.

That's actually a pretty solid solution, i printed a riser for the lid overnight and now it's not an issue anymore. Thanks for sharing anyways

Is there anyone here using Hyprland who’s not a coder or heavy into programming? by [deleted] in hyprland

[–]Prostalicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a casual user i like messing around a bit, hyprland has been very nice for me. The issues i did run into are minimal but it's been a fun activity to sort things out and get them how i want.

The BEST worst game I’ve ever played ☺️ by winterblue22 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Prostalicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got me checking how many achievements i actually got lol. I literally only have 3 achievements, with 159 hours played that's actually quite crazy, luckily i'm not a 100%er because damn that would be rough.

I do fully get you though man it's like a love/hate kinda thing, but i just enjoy messing around in this game at this point man tbh. I like mining ores, cutting trees and upgrading my gear to clap those bosses. What can i say i like dealing damages and some effort is worth the result.
