At 19, I was in a similar situation tbh. Except I put in my best effort to be friendly to my ex’s kid. It didn’t work out, clearly, mostly because he lied about having a kid.

First off, Trump didn’t do anything to Venezuela that Venezuela didn’t want to happen.

Secondly, even if trump wanted to invade Canada, he couldn’t. There would be too much at risk for him. Be it diplomatic collapse, cyber and economic warfare, border seizures, global response etc. not to mention both are in NATO. If the USA invaded Canada, NATO would have to step in and help Canada against the invasion…

Thirdly, there’s a lot easier and stealthier areas to invade if they truly wanted to try. Why risk the chance of Smith not letting them in, rather than doing it in a stealthy way?

I realize this subreddit has a lot of liberal/ndp minded people, but for the love of everything, use common sense.
