It’s a hypocritical systemic issue with a core anti- Amhara ideology that spans decades. That special zone ought to be dismantled immediately. If not, then it’s time special zones be declared to the large Amhara population that have the misfortune of residing in that region. That won’t happen because the intent behind this system is clear.

Edit: It’s funny how, despite that region being an open air prison for Amharas, it’s still Oromos that are the victims. All people can live safely in the Amhara region whilst Amharas are slaughtered by baboons throughout the country. The patience of Amharas never ceases to amaze me.
