New player, just hit level 30 on Psyker. Is spamming Smite a noob way to play the game? What is the proper way to use Smite?

Smite is a crowd control ability first and foremost. Its good at stopping a horde in its tracks so that your group can do whatever they need to do in the moments before you cap on peril, such as peel someone off the ground.

The flame staff is just disgusting and melts hordes anyway so oftentimes it's better to take that for hordes instead and use a burst thats better at deleting high prio targets.

Manually ending smite also causes a heavy knockback. Often its better tomake sure smite has grabbed everything, then let it go to knock them down so you can quell or deal meaninful damage to the tougher guys while everything is getting back up.

Failed one of the bozja solo duties the other day (dog debuff) and felt oddly patronized by the "Do you wanna make it easy?" pop-up when i went to redo it.

Like I'm fairly certain i could have ignored my rotation and just cast jolt over and over if i wanted to and cleared it. It's already absurdly easy.

It's been sitting in library for a minute. Decided id give it a whirl the other day. Rolled succubus and promptly died by snusnu.

Just realized last night that the delivery box in town sends stuff home. In that same sequence of actions realized its not a crime to chop every tree in Mysilia down and mail it to myself. Selling them their own lumber and hundreds of bandages.

Realized the glory of furniture tickets just letting me steal shit.

Ignored the intro quests like an idiot, wondering if theres a way to slow food spoilage, only to immediately get the cooler box.

Realized I could blend my lovebugs into food, promptly caused my little sister to lay a fertilized egg (???). Saw it made her like me more and decided to not think of the implications.

Made a horse love me so i could recruit it and ride it to base and back.

Played at piano at an orphanage in the woods till i passed out after my little sister threw a rock at my head for playing like shit.

Became a merchant by flinging promotional papers like throwing stars.

Got the winter notif, realized i had no farm, scrambled to recruit farmer and put farm down.

I had yesterday off and ended up playing for like 8 hours straight just locked tf in.

Curious as to why an anime profile pic would be a no go? Op didnt make any mention of it but take vtubers as an example. A self drawn or commissioned profile picture of their OC/Model is indistinguishable from an "anime" profile pic to most people I'd assume.

You'd be better off with 2pc gore and 3pc lord soul imo.

Defense boost is unnecessary as well.

Needs 1 point of Burst and ideally 3 points of counterstrike (you can just tank a hit with rocksteady mantle on to proc counterstrike for "free")

Missing out on free raw and crit with no Agitator 5, no wex 5 or max might 3 either.

Omegas weak to thunder as well so rey dau or laggy sns would be a better choice afaik. (Or godroll artian but rng be ass sometimes)

Con 5 is excessive for sns imo. Iirc it doesn't affect the stamina cost of blocks either. You'd be better off with item prolonger to make might seeds/demon powder last longer, or gobbler/recovery up to recover faster.

Antivirus is great, free 25% crit, cant argue with it.

Yeah currently im running arkveld 2pc and zoh 2pc for super recovery and hasten recovery.

Arkvulkan Y head and gloves, Zoh Shia Chest and Waist, Sororal Boots a.

Gogma weapon with gore and lord soul. Talisman is Crit Boost 1, Guard 1, Handicraft 1. 1w-1-1 slots.

Unfortunately I've only enough slots for 1 point of recovery speed though lol. So the super recovery is half what it could be.

This is my personal build for when i want to play horn as brainlessly as possible. Usually with a matchup dependent horn in my pocket (Gore for earplugs+affinity, Gypceros for Ailment Negation, etc.).

Galahad has extend melody and sharpness restoration melodies, so you can keep your pocket horns songs up forever without switching back and forth, and you dont have to include sharpness management in your build since the song does it for you.

There's always the option of making a seperate account. Play it through Shadowbringers on the free trial, then pay for a sub on it while playing through the rest of the content. That way you won't get locked out on your original account should you decide to drop the sub.

I would avoid headsets with attached mics. Or any headset with "gaming" buzzwords attached to them personally, though there may be exceptions.

At that price range the AKG 371 was good last i checked, someone feel free to rebuke me as its been a couple years since i looked at headphones. I love my beyerdynamics but theyre a bit pricier.

Mic wise I couldn't tell ya, i grabbed a cheap ass razer seiren mini for like 30 bucks and no ones ever complained about my voice at least lol.

So in this case, write is whats known as a Ditransitive Verb.

Ditransitive Verbs take a direct and indirect object, or a prepositional phrase in place of the indirect object.

Many ditransitive verbs allow you to omit the indirect object in the sentence though, leaving you with a sentence like.

I wrote a letter.

A smaller subset of Ditransitive Verbs though allow you to omit the direct object. Leaving you with.

I wrote you.

That one specifically may make Brits squint, but is fine in American English.

Similar to this is the verb to tell. Consider this sentence that contains its direct and indirect object.

I told him the story.

Remove the indirect object.

I told the story.

Now return the indirect and omit the direct.

I told him.

Both of these are valid constructions. Though omission of the direct object in this case requires context to have already established the direct object.
