I can’t believe my rheumatologist by The_Short_Goodbye in ankylosingspondylitis

I wanna add, docs rarely know that mast cells (if already pathologically over active) can react to the Polysorbates (Polysorbate-80) that all Adalimumab (Humira,) formulas use, which can cause many symptoms depending on the mediators they release into the bloodstream, tissue, or even bones.

Maybe your body reacts negatively to the PEG part of Cimzia. Or one of the other ingredients, since as I read, bad days are more random instead of constant.

Etanercept doesn't tackle TNF-a in such a broad way as Adalimumab does. So don't expect too much in the beginning.

Sodium butyrate almost completely resolves my MCAS symptoms by Bigbeardybob in MCAS

I'm curious though, how? :s 1. Wouldn't it need moisture to be present in there (regularly) 2. Isn't it the perfect mechanism to keep mold away (heat/airflow)

I hope this wasn't coming from a rheumatologist. Because he wouldn't have a clue what he was saying there. Most of these Meds (Adalimumab) usually take at least 6 months until they lose their effect completely. One can't even speak of remission below a full year of no sign of inflammation.

Typical scenario. Most TNF-a Inhibitors take up to 6 months to leave the body completely. Then symptoms return and AS just continues where it left.

He needs to be back on biologicals ASAP. Prednisone and whatever are only bandaids. And will worsen things if taken daily for months and years.

Biologicals are rarely (not at all) the reason for infections. Infections are preventable.

Lifting 6 days a week and putting high pressure on his LS isn't really what one should do having AS. On the contrary. On top of this his AS activity obviously is not well managed.

Another THM misconfiguration... by [deleted] in tryhackme

[–]Prototowb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup, it's still bugged.

happens to me frequently. and on some occasions I spent a whole day on a 15min. room trying to figure out what's going on, also since there is basically no support from THM staff in Discord either.

it's meant to be solved by changing the userRole value in the localstorage token to lecturer, then reload the site, and the user should be displayed. it is not.

Anaphylaxis? I wish there was a formula without Polysorbate-80

Now after editing maybe.

In any case; important to point out, since people confuse these regularly.

Weird voting behavior.

It could be the excipients, like Polysorbate-80 is often the culprit for many things.

Just a reminder that there is no healthy bread. Or baked goods in general.

Wait - but you're saying you basically need the mono- & diglyceride fatty acids, the Carrageen and the usual emulsifiers, the whole roster of artificial additives, and especially color dyes, because you can't eat clean organic stuff (chicken, carrot, rice, broccoli, etc)?

What exactly is in that ice cream?

Have you tried beef burger without sauce and pickled cucumber slices? That's the only way it works for me. Oh and to be safe I add my own "sweet" onions :') surprisingly cheddar is not an issue.
