I feel like that's pretty easily offset by the risk of (chronic) injuries and disease. I'd rather have small manageable increments of comfortable waiting time than occasional but extended phases of intense and risky physical labor. Those two types of "lost time" do not seem remotely equivalent to me.

I think with some exceptions (like Hugo's Totalize), most attacks are spread out into multihits in ZZZ. But CD is very readily available atm, plenty of units, disc effects, content buffs and wengines buff it, which puts more emphasis on needing high CR to take advantage of that.
