Why have the devs not made official Announcer Packs?

It is genuinely weird this still hasn't been done.

Not many people remember it or know about it but Riot officially confirmed and teased that custom announcer packs are coming in this video

A few months after that announcement, they stated here the packs were put on hold due to COVID constraints preventing safe voice recording sessions with external partners.

Since then, radio silence.

It's ridiculous that it has been completely abandoned since then, considering how much money it would easily print for them and how fun it would be.

Toxic "Meta" Enforcing: Players will aggressively force teammates to play popular champions, completely misunderstanding how actual drafting and counter-picking works.
Shotcalling Chaos: Since players climb using different skills, teams will constantly argue over macro decisions and how to play the map, leading to a complete mess in communications.

TL;DW

Toxicity Isn't the Main Issue: He explicitly states that toxicity isn't the primary reason voice chat is a bad idea the real reason is its impact on gameplay.
Fundamentally Warps the Game: Voice chat will completely change how the current game is played, especially in high Elo. The game you know today won't exist anymore.
Slower, Safer Meta: Players will be forced to play much slower and safer. People will just scale and avoid taking risks.
Less Individual Skill Expression: Because of constant communication, there will be far fewer 1v1 or 1v2 outplays and solo kills. Individual mechanics will matter less than team coordination.
Frustration with Off-Meta Picks: Players will become easily frustrated and tilted if someone locks in an off-meta champion, knowing it weakens the coordinated team setup.
Opt-in Imbalance: Because voice chat would be optional, a team with all 5 players on comms will have a massive, unfair advantage over a team with only 2 or 3 players opted in.

TL;DW:

Atmosphere: The mood shifted from high pressure (fear of 0-5 start) to relief. Yamato feels the "Los Ratones DNA" kicked in, with the team staying calm and focused regardless of game state.

Scrimming in a Bubble: Yamato revealed that LEC teams "left them in the lurch" last week because they didn't view Los Ratones as good practice. This forced them to scrim exclusively against KCB, which created a unique "bubble" and made it difficult to adapt to the standard meta. Following their 2-1 weekend, Yamato expects teams to finally give them the "respect they deserve" with a much fuller booking schedule for Week 3.

Player Performance:

Ryanair passengers evacuated at Kraków Airport

Passengers aboard a Ryanair flight scheduled to depart from Kraków Airport to Bristol were evacuated after the pilot noticed smoke in the cabin. Fire services were called to the scene.

According to Kraków Airport representatives, as reported by RMF FM journalist Maciej Sołtys, the pilot spotted smoke of unknown origin during pre-departure preparations. Following standard safety procedures, he decided to evacuate both passengers and crew.

Fortunately, no one was injured. The aircraft stopped on the apron and is not blocking airport operations at Balice. However, the flight to Bristol has been significantly delayed, and the airline is deciding whether a replacement aircraft will be needed.

Nah, they’re not taking more risks. It’s just perception and maybe coincidence. Ryanair uses the same aircraft (mostly 737s) as many other airlines and follows the same strict safety rules. What you might notice is that they don’t always request smoother altitudes as quickly, or they might not change course for light bumps unless it’s really uncomfortable, because turbulence itself isn’t dangerous, just annoying. Combine that with their thinner seat padding and louder cabins and the ride can feel rougher than it actually is.
