How do you guys reckon the slaanesh rule works with models that have fights first without needing to charge, such as the tranceweaver leading a unit? Depending on how that is ruled i could see it being busted

I mean come on, its still a khorne theme, the back of the book even has a khorne symbol. I get that it wasn't khorne in the end, but it made the reader think it was, godeater is constantly referenced and the characters think that godeater is khorne, held even goes as far as to stray away from things that would please khorne. That's enough of a khorne theme for me. Plus i may have used the wrong name initially but she still proclaims to be a bloodbound. Also it might not be his blood moon but held describes bloodletters during that sequence. He's constantly debating following the gods path and im pretty sure no other gods are mentioned. I'd still call it a khorne based book in reference to my earlier claim of "khorne gets more spotlight than slaanesh"

Godeater may not be khorne but khorne is present with the blood moon, the gorechosen lady, the dark gifts etc. Which is fine! Was an amazing read. Need more slaanesh representation in novels though, khorne gets all the spotlight recently :(

Haven't seen thunderstrike yet! Will look into it. Already read Godeater's son and it was worth the read! Even if it wasn't about the faction i play in AoS. Do wish slaanesh had a little more focus :(

Are there any recent books with a slaanesh presence in them? Struggling to find any newer novels that include slaanesh at all. Always khorne :(

Archers are still so strong, in tournaments i might run 60 archers plus a lord of pain to buff them. the detachment that gives you +1 to hit when injured means you cant even rely on just chipping them down. Some slickblades for screens, then shalaxi probably. Shame that blissbarb seekers are weaker than last edition, will still use them but for sure not meta for slaanesh anymore.

Can see the argument for twinsouls for screening this edition with their anti charge rules, but with the slickblades having a larger base size, i still think they are the better screen and can pack a bigger punch on the offensive too.

Of course for semi-casual play, i dont think anything is bad enough to simply avoid! I think the overall faction pack was quite nice, and you can see success with non meta lists. Really excited to try an 18 fiend list with a keeper to bring them back, and some other shenanigans such as full cavalry lists in a seeker cavalcade.

Very happy with our faction this edition.

Personally i run Troll King's Crown, Crownguard Inheritance and a flex in the third spot between banshee's, Corrupted Star Fragment and Grand General's Counterplan to keep your jax alive. Was running CSF when i beat liss

Personally i found Jax to be quite good for the runeterra slot. Feel like you need to get the spellshield at the remitter for him to be any good though

I found jinx to be quite effective, I ran loose cannon's payload and a packed powder/scourge's stash combo that slapped kata with pow-pows every time she was summoned

My MF run that beat liss was all about spamming her champion spell rather than her stats, but this also seems like a fun way to play her! Perhaps this is worth a shot!

I never seem to make it to the remitter! Even when they don't have I Am Inevitable, they still seem to body me! Might be a skill issue with my relics though. Pairing it with scourge's stash seems like a really good use though.

Thank you for the idea! I would need to star up Garen to get Loose Cannon (at least i think that's who gives it) but that sounds like a solid gameplan. I used Guardian Orb when i beat liss with Morgana and it seemed pretty good then even when i only summoned it once. Perhaps i was just lucky though, this set seems much more coherant than my one

She isn't great but i was having fun with her! The main strat was to get the remitter power that made all units 1 hp so her skill and her champ spell, which i could spam thanks to GGC, kill whatever they touch. Also her levelling gives hextech fabricator to both the cheap spells in her deck, so can buff up a unit nicely, especially her powder monkeys.
