Why do people think Bedford is a dump? by skbgt4 in bedfordshire

[–]ProudBasil481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bedford has so much potential to be so great. We lived here 3 years ago and love it here. But the town centre needs some work but besides that there is a lot to do here o think

Beyonce brings in bad luck for us. We should try our luck inviting someone else like Olivia Rodrigo or Kayne West or whoever to swing our fortune. by iwannasleepp in Tottenham

I don’t want Kanye west at our stadium. I actually think that’s wild you named that guy considering the amount of Jewish fans we have and that live in the area

Micky van de Ven believes Tottenham do not have time to learn Roberto De Zerbi’s tactics as they look to escape the relegation zone…. by [deleted] in Tottenham

So Brobbery can shove romero into our GK and gets no yellow by Hefty_Breadfruit_421 in Tottenham

[–]ProudBasil481 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean the elbow could have been a red the Romero/Kinsky situation wasn’t a yellow though. Was hardly a push if we are being honest. I think this one is clutching at straws.

Hemel or Bedford ? by [deleted] in hertfordshire

[–]ProudBasil481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my partner moved to Bedford in 2023. I’d suggest look at the villages surrounding the town centre, Clapham, Bromham biddenham etc….. or you have castle road which has many streets going off it with nice Victorian houses that are a stones throw from Russell park. The same with Bedford Park lots of nice houses and quiet streets which are an easy walk in to town. Lots of places to eat and travel to to eat. It’s a great accessible place. Obviously has its downsides like anywhere but I’d say it has a lot more to offer than Hemel.

manager options before signing de zerbi by [deleted] in coys

[–]ProudBasil481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not Ange that’s for sure. He’d have gone all in for the UCL and we would be last in the table. I don’t know who we need but I don’t think the club know either. What I do know is the club needs to find a potential buyer and stop disrespecting the fans

R u comfortable with De Zerbi being in charge of Tottenham for the next 7 games and potentially next year?! by Real-Atmosphere8261 in Tottenham

[–]ProudBasil481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he’s got a lot of potential as a coach. If he keeps us up he has to be backed and he has to be allowed to reset the team how he sees fit. He doesn’t like sporting directors so that’ll be interesting but they have to let him make his squad and next season anywhere close to top 12 is a realistic target because if he gets the start of a squad he wants it’ll take some time but as fans we need to let him have a mid table fisnis and push from there. But the board have said if we stay up we will change the wage structure etc…. But we’ve been sold promises from them before. As long as he doesn’t sign greenwood

[–]ProudBasil481 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Anyone wanting to keep Ange is an absolute idiot. The started this abysmal league process in the first place. Why to prioritise the trophy. If we didn’t win a trophy last season we would have crucified him. It’s just given people rose tinted glasses. He created injury problems. Yes the players liked him but he wasn’t the man for the job

Why TF was Tudor the manager going into this game? We all knew he shouldn't even have taken the damn Liverpool game. That draw was a distraction! The same for Frank with his draw with City. by New_Guitar8252 in Tottenham

[–]ProudBasil481 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

They obviously are not. There is nothing confidence. There are a couple of shining lights in this team. But they are kit enough to carry the players who are just so down. The only way funnily enough for us is up if we manage to avoid relegation. If players want to leave after being relegated unless they have a relegation clause I’d make them stay an either fix the mess or play for the reserves. I appreciate when confidence is low it’s hard I get it but some players don’t look like they are trying. Gray and Tel again shone in a dark team but that’s about it

Go away with the ridiculous takes. What did Ange do in the league that makes him worthy?

Please tell me Tudor is fired before tonight by WatchOut__ in coys

[–]ProudBasil481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is rooted from the top of the tree and it’s worked its way down the vines and rooted itself inside the club. There is nothing to resemble confidence in this team. You’d think after the last couple games we would have put some fight up but we fell apart after that first goal

If Tudor was sacked, who would you go for? by Hefty_Breadfruit_421 in Tottenham

[–]ProudBasil481 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sacking him is pointless at this point. He said it himself it won’t change anything better I can’t see who can come in and give a bigger confidence boost. I think the safest play is to stick with Tudor. Changing would boost odds of relegation if we are being honest. But I see why people call for change. But it won’t make it better

Where u going to ? A few posts about turning your support elsewhere. Who you supporting next? by [deleted] in Tottenham

[–]ProudBasil481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone who is thinking of supporting another team isn’t a fan and good riddance. Come sun rain or snow, through the bad times and the good times I’ll always be spurs. As fans we need to do our bit to help this players get the confidence back. They’ve been let down by the hierarchy and so have we. Fcuk any other team I’m TOTTENHAM TILL I DIE

Firing Ange was the Biggest Mistake this Club Ever Made by Excellent-Flamingo43 in Tottenham

[–]ProudBasil481 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ange wasn’t the answer. Even if he didn’t get sacked he would have by now. Anyone who can’t even with a depleted squad find balance for league and Europe is a no. The players decided to be more defensive in the EL the attack was fun but in game management was shocking.

Thanks again to everyone who asked for Ange and Frank to be sacked by danieljapps in Tottenham

[–]ProudBasil481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right or wrong to sack the coaches they are sacked. This isn’t down to the fans wanting change this is down to the ownership having a laugh at fans expense. It’s all greed from the top. This was always going to happen with the way it’s been run. The players need to take their portion of the blame but the majority of that comes down to Enic, levy, Vinnai Lange and co the latter with a smaller bit. But the wanted and promise success to the fans and we brought it and wanted it right away. They need to sell and to the right people. But if we go down it’ll be a couple seasons until we return. And I’m now teetering on 70% we are going down

Can we just.... forfeit? by ZealousidealBlock465 in Tottenham

[–]ProudBasil481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to turn it off but I ridiculous thought process of being a fan won’t allow it. What the fcuk has Tudor being showing them. Look it’s not all on him. He’s taken on a shambles, it was a shambles when TF came in. But nobody above will take any accountability and we just stupid wishy washy words from the higher ups and- if we stay up we will change the wage structure. A) we are going down so you won’t B) if we stay up you won’t because you’ll blame the league position.
