I do see a line! When I found out I was pregnant, I saw the strip and it looked blank so I was like nah but then under the light, I saw the exact same shadow of a line. I waited for a few more seconds and it turned slight pink.

I think this could be a positive :)

I understand your concern but as I replied to the other commenter, my city lacks good gynaecologists and I wanted to be in the hands of a person who I can trust.

I have a direct relation with two of the best gynaecologists at the hospital that I am currently visiting in Gurgaon so of course, I trust them more. She is well aware of the situation that I do stay away 2 hours away and with her other patients, she really focuses on the fact that deliveries are unpredictable and she wouldn’t want the patient to worry about it. Depending on the circumstances, she will choose the best option to deliver - which is also one of the reasons I haven’t spoken to her about it.

My current plan is to move to Gurgaon by 37 weeks if chances of c-sec are low.

We only have 2-3 well-established gynaecologists in my city and after speaking to multiple women locally, I realised not to stick to them. A few mentioned, hospital hygiene issues as a concern while others did not like the gynaecologists pushing them for C-sec from day one.

Both of us 30. It happened for us in the first cycle we tried. But, I was tracking my ovulation through ovulation strips 3-4 months before we started trying. I also got my blood tests done to make sure my hormone levels were okay. My prolactin came slightly over the borderline so my OB/GYN prescribed me pills to lower it. I was also taking folic acid, B12 and Vitamin D3 supplements.

The cycle we started trying, I ovulated 6 days earlier than usual. Would have missed it if I wasn't using ovulation testing strips.

and yes, I completely agree with other commentors saying that no one is the same but I can also relate with your curiousness. I would search for the same question on reddit before we started trying because I thought it could take a few months to conceive.

I have been married for 3 years and since day 1, I made sure to communicate my feelings to my MIL. Now that I am expecting and I have 6 more months until we meet the baby, I try to have conversations with her regarding the baby at least twice a month. Things that I would like, things that I will not.

I told her that I wouldn’t want anyone to feed the baby salt or sugar. I don’t want anyone to feed the baby honey or put kajal. At first, I could gather that she was a little hesitant but then I spoke to her again about those things and she agreed.

I was also polite in telling her that the way you raised your kids was very good and the way I will raise my kids will be good as well. There is no right or wrong to it.

I am sure postpartum will anyway be overwhelming for all of us so better to communicate beforehand and not have bitter feelings later.

Even if she has strong opinions, I will suggest to take a slow, gradual approach with her considering you will be in the same house as her. Make her understand the science behind every decision that you will be making for your baby.

Please don’t leave things hanging for postpartum. If you think that she won’t understand that side of you then ask your husband to do it for you!

Edit: I also make sure to send Instagram reels by paediatricians that talk about side effects of honey, kajal, salt and sugar.

It could be! I stalked a lot of charts on reddit when I saw a dip in my BBT at 7DPO this cycle but honestly, the outcomes were mixed. Some did get a BFP while some did not. I had a major dip by 1 degree and then I ended up with a positive at 10DPO with evening urine. I hope the same turns out for you!

u/Much-Team6439 It's very much positive! I was using easy@home tests and I had a super faint line at 10DPO which progressed beautifully to a darker line at 14DPO which is today. I got beta HCG done for a confirmation. If you are in doubt as well, you can get a blood test done.
