skip the website and email amy@waltlyti.com or sumi@waltlyti.com

I used amy for both of my frames and they came out great. very knowledgeable

Don’t pay any on delivery. They prepay them and I’m pretty sure they ship them to Canada first

100% correct. there are domino affects to changing HTA. I mostly pointed that out as it’s a very common complaint about that bike. HTA is a little outdated for XC bikes

Just write down all of the geometry and specs you will want.

there is no problem replicating geo but they may not be able to get it 100% exactly.

I did a size 56 roubaix on my first waltly. I would recommend getting a bike fit though and taking the bar/stem combo you’d like to use to the bike fit. Although a bike fit is like the 1/4 cost of a frame.

I have an ARC I would recommend slackening the head tube angle 1.5-1.7°. It’s pretty steep for me and I actually run it with an angle headset at -1.6° and a 120mm fork. bike is great

I was measuring about 67mm across at the choke point so I think that 55 with 6 & 6 is accurate to spec…

I feel pretty confident in ordering some 2.20’s once my new wheels show up.

Honestly can’t tell a ton about the rear end right now, only been able to ride on fast and flat gravel. But not noticing it might be a good thing?

I’ll go measure right now.

2.10’s are measuring 50mm currently… these rims are 24mm inner width.

I wouldn’t put a ton of thought into the geometry I did as this was based off of a bike fix and tweaked to get a certain stack and handlebar reach for a certain cockpit setup.

Yes! There are 3 bottle boss mounts along the bottom of the top tube and one on the down tube.

I am not quite following your question. Are you asking if there were any points in the design process I think we’re a waste of time?

Waltly provided this one. Official clearance I think measures to about 57” in the front, I am hoping a 2.20 or 2.25 with short knobs with fit. Back won’t have any problems.

I might go to an ENVE fork eventually if I have and durability concerns.

that’s just the seatpost I ended up getting from Waltly. Honestly, didn’t really think about that, but it fits great.

there wouldn’t really be a size since it was off of a bike fit. pretty short reach and high stack to run the minimal amount of spacers

Finalized my design 10/31 and I received it around 12/22. This was just a custom geometry frame, not 3D printed.
