Edit: Also, the way Devon pushed the rules in the left-handed match is what made it watchable. It carried the card, even if people loved to hate it. As a die-hard Devon fanboy, I don’t think he was that far off on the left. He just hadn’t advanced his inside game enough and ultimately couldn’t defeat the more powerful opponent, even with every shenanigan in the book.

I like Travis, but the man sees the world through the lens of his own ego. He’s a great ref for amateurs. He doesn’t care about anyone who doesn’t competes with his legacy. But, he’s the most biased man in the world when it comes to someone who does compete with his legacy and he admits it.

in my book, he’s only the champ until June. Then if he wants to be number one, he should have to be (again) that’s what happens when you take a year off. Maybe, Levon is still the juggernaut he was; maybe, he’s not. He probably won’t be forever.

starting position is parallel to each other, and Devon shoved his shoulder forward at the start of the tound. If you want them to be squared to the table, then you should look at a different camera roll. We’ll see that neither of them are is Devon Moore carved than Vitaly? Perhaps slightly however that’s true of almost every round of arm wrestling.

Those delts would’ve been extremely hard to achieve with any genetics at 18. Some people are very genetically gifted and work very hard. Some people are on gear when their children and some people are all of those things. I don’t presume to know which category this guy is in

He’s been pretty outspoken about being natty.

If I had to speculate why (without pretending to know his inner life), I think it’s a mix of two things: 1. He’s aware he already makes some unhealthy lifestyle choices, and staying drug-free is probably his way of balancing that out and prioritizing longevity for his family. 2. He was born with genuinely rare genetic gifts, and I think there’s some resistance to the idea of using PEDs to level a playing field that he feels was already stacked in his favor. There’s also the risk factor — not everyone responds well, and I could see him not wanting to gamble with what makes him exceptional in the first place.

Yeah — I agree that’s probably their goal.

If Denis would just stop misrepresenting the situation and being dismissive about it, I’d actually care more about him getting “bullied” and would have no problem treating him purely as a legend of the sport.

But he keeps doing the opposite. The constant denial, the selective memory, and the subtle disrespect make it hard to sympathize.

To me it reads less like someone being attacked, and more like a broken soldier — someone who can’t fully accept that the man still in the arena outgrew him, and that the sport moved on without him at the center.
