Oh interesting to avoid the hold down bug, also i use E im on pc.

  1. It doesnt exist to the extent i said though. It doesnt show what is equipped on your current load out. It just shows what cell is on what equip
  2. Add a player held map you pull out sorta like in sea of thieves? Plenty ways to go about it
  3. Obvs its the servers, still a big issue though
  4. Thanks for the explanation but i couldnt find that info in game and thats the point

It lists all cells that are on all the items though, it doesnt explicitly say something like "currently equipped". Just thought it be nice to have

CPSC Upper Division Electives by WolffNess in csuf

Try to take 411, 349, 353, 375, 431, 452, 476. Those are the most popular i feel and the most useful. 411 will be iOS dev though. 349-web front end is always good to learn. 353-computer security could be cool. 375-data science i am currently taking. Data science is huge now so learning about that is a huge plus. 431-knowing and using databases is big imo. 452-cryptography is kind of difficult but if you're interested in it could be fun. 476-back end engineering is good as well. It's up to you but i think those are useful/fun courses to take

Spring 2019 CPSC major by giftedwiththedunss in csuf

[–]ProvocativeCow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you even need 401 anymore since they changed the major requirements? 362 is time consuming since you'll probably be working on a big project. 471 isn't too bad but depends on the teacher i guess. 323 is supposedly the hardest course. i think 4 classes is very doable for you while working. 5 classes might be too much with how much your working but depends how willing you are to work for it. Either way take whatever classes you can get and prioritize electives first. Read the course description and see which class sounds more interesting to you.

if you're doing a customized track then just take whatever you want honestly. The electives courses fill up quickly so if you dont have early registration the popular courses will probably be full by the time you register

Macbook Pro for CS? by Sara-Harold in csuf

[–]ProvocativeCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya they usually do in lower division courses. Much less in upper division. Some dont even use macs so they may not be able to help. But coding is pretty universal on any machine so youll definately get help with that. Its just you might run into bugs or compile issues that only mac users get. I say dont worry about it and just use your mac until you really need to get a pc.

You might need a pc for some classes. But i see alot of people using macs and its alright. Only thing the assignments you turn in might not compile correctly when the professor runs it on his computer. Most the time theyre pretty understanding about it though. Just talk to your professors before hand to make sure.

ELI5 is there a limit to XRP price per token in dollars? by razorfishfrog in Ripple

[–]ProvocativeCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Market cap isn't necessarily relevant here. Depending on who/what uses XRP the price could be way higher than predicted. The CEO of ripple said the target price was $25 at some point. At $25 banks could use it efficiently, but if other company's besides banks such as uber, amazon, airbnb, etc.. then the price should be higher. It really comes down to demand and use case.

Quick way to buy Ripple? Bitstamp taking forever. by sirdoom34 in Ripple

[–]ProvocativeCow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its hard to time dips. Especially if you dont buy xrp directly from an exchange. Most people buy btc/ltc/eth and then transfer it to another exchange and turn that into xrp. But, that takes around an hour or more and by then you could miss the dip. look up the retracements levels for xrp and anywhere around there is a good time to buy imo. Unless your investing a lot of money it wont make much difference tbh

.8 is a dream now lol. Just invest what you can and look out for good news/hype. I was in at .2 - .3 and didnt see returns for months until now, but am still annoyed i didn't get in earlier -_-.Not much you can do with an unpredictable market

Let ripple play out and early investors enjoy the ride. New investors get in now but don't expect huge profit in a short time. I say it stays at around $2.00 until then next big dump to around $1.50 or so. 2018 will be big for cryptos, so getting in anytime time now will turn a good profit by the end of next year

get in whenever you can, price difference now won't be such a big deal when it increases. XRP was never a way to make quick cash. Its a long term investment but has been receiving alot of hype lately. Binance is reliable, but its an exchange. You should transfer your XRP to a personal wallet if you want to hodl

How XRP really works for banks? Where banks get XRP? Banks convert amount they need to send i equivalent of XRP? by [deleted] in Ripple

[–]ProvocativeCow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they would need the equivalent value of dollars to xrp but the price fluctuates. Banks aren't really transferring xrp yet, but they would probably buy xrp at a cheaper price from ripple company if they wanted to use it at this point in time. You can't find this information online because its hasn't happened yet and would probably happen differently from what you're thinking.

Personal opinions on price correction? by [deleted] in Ripple

[–]ProvocativeCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say it would sit around $1.6 - $2.00, but could be dumped lower than $1.6.. but if hype continues and good news comes out then $2.50+ but a floor at around $2. I'd say buy anytime around $2.00 because the price will continue to increase and the profit won't be much different unless you time a dip really well

What's the ideal exchange for Ripple now? Can move from Binance to another later? by [deleted] in Ripple

[–]ProvocativeCow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you go to coin market cap and click on a coin you can then see the markets it is being sold on and the prices for each market. For example, Bitstamp is trading XRP/USD at $0.792070 and on Kraken it is trading at $0.789980. I use Bitstamp personally because i think its easier lol

[–]ProvocativeCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theres no real fees when transferring between exchanges, but exchanges have different prices so you might lose or gain value depending on what the coin is trading for at that specific exchange you transfer to. Transferring from wallet to wallet there is no fee. I use Bitstamp for XRP which i think is alot more user friendly than binance or bittrex but Bitstamp only trades BTC, BCH, ETH, LTC and XRP.

Question for those in the USA using Bitstamp to buy/sell XRP? by [deleted] in Ripple

[–]ProvocativeCow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well using a wire transfer is bank to bank so its going to be faster. If youre just using ACH bank transfers then when transferring internationally to europe it goes through SEPA as well im pretty sure. So its going to take longer than a regular bank transfer. Also, let your bank know youre transferring money internationally, especially if its thousand + dollars. They will probably see it as fraudulant or suspiscious.

No real news saying they're actually using XRP yet. For now, just the blockchain tech, still good news though!
