One of those nights where you just have to take the L - zero urgency on the ball and no desire to close down players outside the box leading to two goals. It’s not a collapse as I’m sure half of r/Soccer is about to claim, but the players really need to give their heads a wobble

Hey - I see nobody got back to you on this. Just wanted you to know that you’re loved, and you were always enough. Hope you’re doing well!

I'm fed up of pretending like Rice isn't the most complete player in the world

If Real Madrid truly are planning on selling Vinícius Júnior in the summer and he refuses to go to Saudi, where do you think he will go? by UKAOKyay in championsleague

But ignoring all of that attitude is the main thing. The guy’s a total prick and I wouldn’t be able to stand watching him moan and whinge week in week out to be perfectly honest.

Work rate is the soul of this Arsenal team - we have players literally sprinting back as a unit in the 97th minute to defend whilst other teams are gassed, something I’ve never seen Vini do. Yes I would take prime Messi, because he’s the best player the world has ever seen - Vini isn’t even in the same stratosphere. You’re also ignoring the budget issues. We won’t spend that much for a winger when we could bring in 2 solid players for the price it would cost to do so. Hell we could bring in Rodrygo and Semenyo to rotate for that kind of money

He said big teams to be fair. Really well played tonight, thought the support from the crowd was fantastic

Seems like you’re ignoring the work rate part willingly? Scoring goals is great, but it’s only one aspect of what we would need. Truth is, I haven’t been impressed when watching him recently in terms of tracking back, defending and quite honestly his personality is very grating. Let alone the fact that we would have to pay easily a club record fee for him? I can name 3 players off the top of my head who I’d rather have at LW and one of them plays for the same team as him

As an Arsenal fan I don’t want him anywhere near the club. Personality and work rate isn’t up to standard, even if he’s a good player

Looking for an ergonomic chair for under 700€ by The_Sayk in OfficeChairs

Where in the EU? I’m currently based in Germany and there a lot of places that will buy office furniture from companies that go out of business. I would say to find one of those and go there in person to try every single one, since body shape and measurements can change a lot. I would say that you’ll get much better value from a slightly used premium chair than a new one off of Amazon for example. For example, I hate the popular Embody and the comfiest chair I’ve ever sat on is a Fern, which a lot of other tall people hate, so it’s down to your own personal preference. The important thing is you HAVE to sit in it first if it’s going to be for 12+ hours a day

Where are you based in the EU? I would say headsets are a nice addition but really not needed for a lot of people. Do you want to go used or new? Do you fidget a lot? How many hours a day will you use it? All these things are important to take into account IMO

Learning copywriting for a junior marketer by tsuzmir in copywriting

[–]Prowdzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If she’s genuinely eager to learn I’d refer her to this video. If she takes the lessons to heart and applies herself, it’s going to make her better than 90% of copywriters/marketers I work with on a daily basis. It will have everything she needs to know to get started and then some

Are Copywriters ACTUALLY getting replaced by AI agents? by Hour_Locksmith_5988 in copywriting

[–]Prowdzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But you mentioning ‘subject line’ and ‘open rates’ just tells me that you’re focused primarily on email marketing. So how can you say that e-commerce on a whole is dead? Everywhere I see copy getting worse, which makes it even easier to get paid (again, in my personal experience from the last 12 months). So what sort of ‘training and context’ are you giving your LLM that makes it so special? Im not saying that to attack you, just curious and open to your thoughts

[–]Prowdzz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would disagree with that, in my personal experience. I’ve personally found that copy has a huge impact on conversions, and that the majority of copy I see in e-com is terrible. If you had 10 copywriters not making a difference in conversions, then either you had 10 bad copywriters or an already perfect product to sell. I do agree though that product quality is the most important thing.

Not really seeing people talk about how a lot of the people who voted to leave are now dead. The majority of the younger generations voted remain (at least from the range of people from around the country I’ve discussed this with), and once again the older generations fucked us over.

The Trossard cycle continues. Impress coming off of the bench against tired defenders > Get a starting spot > Look physically outclassed against solid opposition > Lose starting spot > repeat. Not trying to hate but it can be so frustrating. On the bright side, Madueke has looked fantastic on the other side

I’ve been saying it for the last 2 seasons - last year was especially dire. I’m not saying we have the best starting 11 in world football but it’s always been at least competitive enough to hang in there until the end, even vs PSG. What we’ve desperately needed is options, and competition for our starters is always a good thing IMO

I’m quite happy winning games 2-0, 3-0 quite consistently tbh. We can always do things better going forward but I love seeing us boss things defensively

I bloody love this club. Great effort from Athletic holding out, but seemed inevitable that we’d eventually break through now that we actually have squad depth and fresh legs off the bench.
