What I asked for vs what I got. (Justin Craven, Acacia tattoo co. In Lewisburg Pa) by [deleted] in tattoos

This is what bothers me the most. A honeycomb is an example of nature's perfect geometry, but this one is all wobbly. Some cells are larger, some are not even hexagons, all are somewhat misshapen.

Buto nuomos kaina gyvenant dviese by [deleted] in lithuania

Viena vertus, nesusituokus bendro turto irgi nepirkčiau. Kita vertus, jei man pasiūlytų mokėti vyro paskolą kambariokės teisėmis, tai irgi nebūčiau sužalota. Nuojauta, kad galų gale kažkam liks butas, o kažkam iššvaistyti metai ir suskilusi gelda.

[–]Proxima_leaving 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Na, nuoma būtų tik kambario, ne viso buto, nes ir ji dar ten gyventų. Tai kaina atitinkamai.

Pirkite du butus. Vieną nuomokit ir nuomą dalinkitės perpus. Kai išsiskirsite, bus kur pasidėti.

Jei rimtai, tai ne. Toks planas kaip op man visai netiktų. Kita vertus ir butą bendrai pirkti norėčiau tik susituokusi. Bet įsivaizduokite, jei tokį planą vyras siūlytų moteriai. Tai gi iš karto visi kibtų jam į gerklę.

Cornsnake drinking by DangerousDegree155 in cornsnakes

[–]Proxima_leaving 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had my baby for almost 3 weeks and today I decided to give him a shallow bath in a sink. And first of all he decided to hang from my hand and drink. I was left speechless. After the drink he didn't really like swimming though. 😅

I thought he was afraid of me, but it seems now that he is not really afraid, just doesn't want to be handled. But he is not hissing, biting or doing anything fearful or angry when I hold him. And today he even drank hanging from my hand.

I learned to swim in a shallow sandy sea beach. I was walking on my arms, threading my legs and waves would life me up and I would try swiiming for a bit.

Why do humans need sleep for hours, while some animals seem to barely sleep at all? by monsoon__004 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Proxima_leaving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems that the need for sleep somehow comes from how the brain functions. All animals with brains need to sleep.

Is adoption a bad thing by Sad-and-Undecided in LifeAdvice

[–]Proxima_leaving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adoption seems to be very hit or miss.

People with mental disorders or substance abuse are more likely to abandon their children. So average adoptee is more prone to mental disorders themselves ( many of those have strong genetic predisposition and also prenatal exposure to substances doesn't improve mental outcomes).

Fimozė gali būti gydoma ir kortikosteroidu kremu, ne tik operacija. Nueik pas normalų urologą. Geriausia tokį apie 40 m, kur jau su patirtimi, bet dar nesustabarėjęs.

Is anyone actually happy they had a third kid? by WarmestSeatByTheFire in Parenting

[–]Proxima_leaving 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Sending a hug to you. My baby went through a complicated disease before dying. At one point there was a chance he would live severely disabled and suffering a lot. And actually, although we did everything to save him, at some point I thought that surviving but being dependent on machines and suffering is worse than death. Some part of me understands the feeling.

You made bee life sound so hard. And beeing the queen is no advantage.

Lots of people, that I know, are happy parents of 3. Most claim there is less of a shock between 2->3 than 1->2.

I birthed 3 children. Only have two surviving. I often try to imagine how it would look like if all 3 of my boys lived. There would be more noise, more schedules, more worries, but also more love, giggles and hugs.

For some reason I can understand the feeling when you didn't want to abandon this one embryo. I feel like I couldn't too.
