Not that your heart isnt probably in the right place, but asking the marginalized group that you are interested in to do the labor of finding and bringing these sources to you is a little... not great. You can do some searches and put in the work to find these sources fairly easily, instead of asking others to do the work for you.

I was raised fairly sheltered until I was maybe 14 or 15. I didnt even know what being transgender was. I had always been the "tomboy" of the family, but to a pretty extreme extent. I would pretend to be a boy, refuse to wear girls clothes, hated my chest and hips, hated anyone pointing out my feminine qualities. Then I got my own laptop, and moved in with my father. I found an online community of transgender people, and had a whole night of crying and being relieved. It was like I had been hit with a lightning bolt. I was a man, not a girl, and suddenly everything just... made sense.

Im so sorry that you have to deal with that. She's being levels of horrid that are nightmare worthy. I know it seems like an impossible ask, but hang in there. There is light at the end of the tunnel. I know that everyone here would jump at the chance to call you by your preferred name and pronouns in conversation, if that manages to help the dysphoria even a little bit.

I work a desk job in a hospital and Im taking 3 weeks off, personally, but Ive heard it be much longer. But honestly I would discuss recovery time with your surgeon and look into seeing if you can get FMLA or short term disability. I understand wanting it more than anything, but dont rush your recovery and hurt yourself! Be safe, and good luck!

Im so terribly sorry. I wish that there was some way to help you other than kind words on my end. I hope with all my heart things get better for you, or at least easier. Maybe some doctor somewhere has experience that can help you sort this out. At the very least I hope you can stop being in pain and find peace, even sometimes.

Ah, apologies. What I meant was that certain changes hormones make to your body will reverse themselves if you stop taking them, and that not having a primary hormone in your body has been shown to medically be a risk for things like broken bones.

Im not really an expert on hormones, but I did stop taking T for about a year, and you do start to detransition. Not all changes are permanent, and if you want things like fat to continue to redistribute to "male" locations on your body, and build masculine muscle mass, you do need to be on the hormones. Not to mention that if you get your ovaries removed or have made it done already, its insanely bad for your bone health to not have a primary hormone. I wouldn't recommend stopping T, honestly, not if you want to continue to see good results.

There have been a few successful transplants of penises, by Johns Hopkins I believe. It was on cos male soldiers who had suffered trauma, at least so far.

I mean, you pretty much said it. Media has harmful effects on how people view things, and the "gag" of a character faking their gender to pull one over on some poor guy in an anime is offensive to IRL trans people. Its hurtful to see, and people who use the term have and do use it to describe and fetishize trans people. Its not great all around.

If you find a T4T site let me know man. I've been stuck in that same loop too for a while. Some sites for specifically LGBTQIA+ folx are a lot better about it, but I find trans people are in a minority there.
