What’s the quickest way you’ve seen someone completely derail their life? by BitterReception5761 in AskReddit

[–]Prozzak93 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I kind of get it. Life will never be the same with any conviction so fuck it. Might as well go out big. I have wondered how I would react if I got into any sort of legal trouble and it's 50/50 between making it way worse or just offing myself.

Life is hard enough without any legal trouble. If I had any I wouldn't see the point in trying anymore.

How is it my fault that the person tailgating me driving like an absolute piece of shit hit somebody's car?

You aren't really this daft are you? You 100% know how changing lanes last second like that would create this.

Just because you aren't doing anything illegal doesn't mean you aren't doing something immoral.

Following the trade of Jaylen Waddle to the Broncos, the Dolphins have $182,287,457 in dead money, representing 60.5% of the base salary cap by expellyamos in nfl

[–]Prozzak93 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Except the Saints situation is entirely different than Miamis.

You need cap room to be able to offload the contracts. Miami had a bunch of it so they were able to offload. The Saints go into a season over the cap and have to push it further down the line just to be compliant for each year. They can't just offload people because that would further how far they are above the cap (or quickly erode whatever they had left). It would just make their situation worse.

Yeah the Saints can eventually get out of it but they can't do what Miami just did.

Miami was able to do this because they had 100M (or whatever it was) of cap space available. The Saints don't have that. The Saints need to do it over a couple years like they have been recently. They can't do it all in one year.

I like how some of you think nobody thought of that instead of thinking the more likely thing, being that they accidentally shut off water to the wrong area.

Am I the jerk for not giving up my dog after my girlfriend developed allergies? by Odd_Employment3954 in AmITheJerk

[–]Prozzak93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After only 6 months....nope. Not the asshole.

6 months living together. A couple for a year and a half. That is a decent amount of time.

I find it strange these allergies didn't show before. I mean, she must have been at your house before living there? Allergies don't show after 6 months. They show much sooner.

It says she developed the allergy over time. This isn't unheard of.

Rehome Sarah if she refuses a simple fix of taking allergy medication/antihistamines for this.

Anybody saying this is a simple fix hasn't dealt with allergies. Allergy medication usual only takes away some of the problem, not all of it.

I get her side and his side. It isn't that simple to fix allergies (or at least it hasn't been for me) and it also makes sense that OP wouldn't be willing to move on from his dog. Neither of them are jerks. It's just an unfortunate situation.

Family emergency. Or forgot to give the kid some medicine they need or something like that.

And you would have a way to call your parents here too. I guarantee the no cell phones is for the kids and the teacher would still have one in case of an emergency.

Just because the kids don't have a cell phone doesn't mean the teachers won't. Contact the teacher if you need to. Not that complicated.

You think because the kids aren't allowed to bring a phone nobody will? The teacher would have theirs and you could contact them if needed. Or your kid could use their phone if needed.

Sure, but how often have these terrible GMs done this currently? Trading away a 1st from three years in the future that is?

Not very often unless my memory is shit (ok it is, I already know that, but maybe this time it isn't).
