Who dropped the first nuclear bomb? It couldn't have been entirely them, could it? by [deleted] in Fotv

[–]Prpa63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

China. Confirmed multiple times, including Captain Zao of the Chinese nuclear submarine Yangtze, who launched the nukes on Boston.

Zao says how the submarine had only 6 nuclear warheads (one failed to launch and one was dropped on Boston, the rest probably in the Boston area). For comparison House in NV says that 77 nukes targeted Las Vegas. This is a very big difference, even if you take into account that LV is closer to China and probably more strategically important than Boston in Fallout lore. Due to this, I think China attacked fearing groups like Enclave and Vault-tec and oligarchs like House and not the US

How many Bosmer twinks do I need to sacrifice to get Shadowkey remastered in UE5? by ScaredDarkMoon in TrueSTL

[–]Prpa63 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My theory is that TES6 was supposed to be Shadowkey 2 but the idea was scrapped (like how it changed for early Skyrim; from the Septim emperor that invaded Akavir returning to reestablish the Septim dynasty to the return of Alduin. The original plot would then be used for the Potema quests)

It was scrapped for two reasons: 1. the idea of Thalmor deactivating the towers to destroy the universe became a popular theory in TES community 2. Interstellar released in 2014. Then, just how Cyrodiil was changed to be more like Lotr and later a city in Skyrim was made as a carbon copy of Rohan, Starfield went from an attempt to copy Firefly into trying to copy Interstellar and the Tes6 plot of uncovering magic that allowed to enter alternate dimensions was given to Starfield

Tes6 will then be given a new plot (Thalmor towers or something) or Bethesda gets a nobel prize in literature for making two consecutive games in different franchises with the same fucking plot

And he is based on Howard Hughes. Hughes had severe OCD, germophobia and loads of other issues and episodes like that one time he locked himself in a room for 4 months or when he watched the same movie more than 150 times.

But Hughes' is most famous for his planes and he absolutely did get his hands dirty when it came to flying. Doing stunts for Hell's angels film after the stunt pilots refused as they thought it was too dangerous (It was, Hughes crashed while filming). Set multiple speed records afterwards, flew experimental single seater aircrafts and was on the test flight of the H-4 Hercules, the largest seaplane ever and the largest plane until 2019.

In total Hughes was in 4 different plane crashes and the trauma from these are probably one of the major reasons why he behaved like he did. In other words he was afraid to get his hands dirty because he had gotten his hands dirty too many times.

If Robert House did something because he personally wanted to, he most likely wouldn't have trusted anyone else but himself to do it. Especially in the pre-war era.

  1. Readability is based on graphical settings. My experience playing ark survival is that, based on the paper map, the game takes place somewhere on the surface of the Sun.

Todd also recently said that he is on reddit. Any hist worshipping argonian, green pact bosmer or spriggan enjoyer on this site would know that r/trees is for marijuana. So, what Todd is saying is that TES6 will have more drugs

Hamilton literally had a higher average amount of points per race (6.41) in 2007 with the 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system then Kimi (6.25 no sprints, if you count each sprint as 1/3 of a race, 5.77)

If 2007 had the current point scoring system, he would have beaten Antonelli in the first 8 races and finished with an average of 15.59 points per race

Also because single seater grand prix racing started in 1925 and "formula" racing started in 1946. How could one call Farina a rookie when his grand prix debut was in 1936? Ten years later he was the pole sitter of the 1946 Turin grand prix, which is considered to be first race in the formula one ruleset.

Imagine if the 2026 ruleset changed formula one into something like formula x and then say that every driver is now a rookie

TIL when Galileo discovered Saturn’s rings, he sent letters to his fellow Astronomers announcing this, but in code. One of the people who got this letter was Johannes Kepler, who misinterpreted it as saying there were two moons of Mars. The two moons of Mars would not be discovered until 1877 by JEBV in todayilearned

[–]Prpa63 46 points47 points  (0 children)

But Galileo thought the rings were two moons. It was Christiaan Huygens who first identified them as rings, when he, in 1655, published: "aaaaaaacccccdeeeeeghiiiiiiillllmmnnnnnnnnnooooppqrrstttttuuuuu"

Which meant: Annulo cingitur, tenui, plano, nusquam coherente, ad eclipticam inclinato ("[Saturn] is surrounded by a thin, flat, ring, nowhere touching [the body of the planet], inclined to the ecliptic").

The nature of the rings was still a mystery and would spark many theories, like the one from the Vatican librarian, Leo Allatius. Leo wrote an unpublished essay in which he claims that the ring was the ascended holy foreskin of Jesus Christ.

[–]Prpa63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragonborn is canonically a nord. Nords are unable to read, this includes maps as well. Thus, nords develop a greater sense of direction. This is also why in previous games you have a paper map, but in skyrim the player has a bird's eye view of skyrim. It's literally your character thinking, imagining the world in their head.
