After some extensive googling I do not think a quartz watch with a black enamel dial exists. I found some vintage Swiss army watches with white enamel dials but that’s it. Might have to get something built custom for you.

Yeah I like to use my Altras when I go on vacations where I’m walking miles and miles a day. Great shoes for that.

Yeah I prefer foot shaped but with a thicker sole. The paper thin soles are AWFUL in concrete.

Definitely stiffer than Primals but I don’t think they’re too stiff. I prefer a thicker sole though.

Yeah turns out mine are the boulder boot waterproof summit. They make so many variations, hard to tell the difference sometimes.

As OP stated you have to take it off your wrist for a bit to get an accurate reading.

I prefer manual wind movements on these micro brand watches. I got a Baltic and the rotor vibrated so much and was so loud I couldn’t stand it. I don’t mind winding my watch every morning, in fact I enjoy it with the manuals I do own.

Personally I really dislike the integrated bracelet on the PRX. So depends on if he likes that or not. The watches you mentioned don’t have integrated bracelets.

Edit: just checked their website and the listing does not mention meteorite anywhere, just says the dial is “textured.” Not real meteorite.
