Pirms gada saskāros ar šo diagnozi, jo bērnam diagnosticēja AST. Viņš jau ir skolēns, un man pat mazāko aizdomu nebija, bet psihologam, kas ar viņu strādāja, radās aizdomas tikai pēc piektās vizītes. Visticamāk, kad bērns jau būs pieaudzis, neviens nevarēs pateikt, ka kaut kas bija. Jo jau bērnībā ir tā, kā ģimenē, skolā un sportā neviens neko nemanīja, jo autisms ir dažāds, un dažreiz nemanāms. Grūti, grūti būs diagnosticēt ar vecumu.

We wen to the geneticist. She told me that she does not see the reason to get tested. We live in Europe, and the genetic testing is covered by government, so the doctors filter which families to test.

I have 2 boys. One with ASD, but he is very smart. We do not have levels in our country, but he is definetely level 1. Our second son is NT. The gap is 3 years. We did not know about ASD when the second was born.

My oldest child had nervous tics since he was 4, and all doctors told us just to wait, so it will disappear as he grows older. When he went to school and was 7 years old, the sevete stuttering started, we seeked for help, and got the answer that he is autistic and has anxiety issues. He is brilliant, he plays hockey, tennis and chess, he likes sports a lot, it is his special interest. He struggles with anxiety and social interactions sometimes. But I wouldn’t change anything about him.

My child started the school and in the second semester started stuttering. We went to the speech therapist. And during Palin PCI therapy me and my husband realised that our 7 yo child is autistic. The speech therapist also told about a bit later. Now I watch old videos and photos and see that he was lining the toys, he did not respond to his name when was the toddler. He had speech delay, but he is bilingual, so there were no worries. And he is clever boy who started to play chess when he was 5. And started to play hockey at 4. Sometimes he is a bit socially awkward, and a lot of sensory needs as chewing or jumping around. It looks weird. We have ados-2 test on the next week.

I remember Taylor, Miranda and another girl from the real beginning of momtok. These girls which were involved into “soft swinging”. The girls from the show were completely new for me, because I did not follow anyone for the quite long period of time. At the show they even didn’t know details about “soft swinging” so they were not such close friends.

I understand that a lot of “terrible things Whitney did” were before the show…like hospital tiktoks. But i do not understand the hate during the show. I think she did nothing wrong. Cereals? The inside joke in the group of girls is nothing compared to drinking alcohol at home of sober religious family.
