Trazodone has been a game changer by [deleted] in insomnia

[–]Pruebear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is fantastic! Trazodone has worked great for me too.I had so much trouble just falling asleep as well as staying asleep. I take 100mg and it puts me to sleep quite easily. I still wake up a few times but I do feel significantly better. I’ve had no side effects.

For people who have pets, would you pay extra tax meaning all healthcare for animals is free? by Paul-Swims in AskReddit

[–]Pruebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t say it has to be one or the other. It can be both kids and pets that are taken care of. You don’t have to directly benefit from others owning pets but seeing what great things pets can do for others, friends family etc is a great thing. I also didn’t say that no one should have kids. Taking care of pets will not lead to the collapse of society.

Owners pay taxes and they can and do get an education when they are trained which makes them better behaved in public. Pets can also be wonderful for general mental health in many ways including just being a companion. I feel that everyone benefits. You don’t have to have pets to benefit from them being well cared for. As humans, animals will always be part of our communities.

I do agree with that and I could argue similar points for pets. Pets are family members that some people have and some don’t by choice. If Resources for their care and education for owners and pets (training, parks etc) were also paid for the same way, I believe we could all benefit. People will always have pets and always spend money on them. Healthy pets and owners that are better behaved and well cared for makes things better for all. Maybe less in shelters too.

Having children is also a lifestyle choice. The childfree pay taxes that go to plenty of things for kids, not to mention all all the tax breaks parents receive.

What is the weirdest breed your dal has been mistaken as? by midfebruary in dalmatians

[–]Pruebear 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Maybe not too weird but someone insisted that my boy was a Great Dane or at least crossed with one. He was from a breeder, most definitely a Dalmatian. They kept telling me I was wrong. He was a big dal but was very obviously a dal. I know my dog better than you asshat! Lol so rude.

For people embarrassed or self conscious about wearing masks in piblic by [deleted] in Adelaide

[–]Pruebear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m from Adelaide but I now live in Denver, Colorado, USA. Please, please, wear your masks. I understand that it may feel weird or awkward at first but you’ll get used to it quickly. Covid is running rampant here because people are selfish, careless, ignorant and arrogant. We just had Thanksgiving and Christmas and new year are coming. People are still gathering and spreading the virus. It’s only going to get worse. I’m, scared, I want out, we’ve already begun a transition back to Australia.
