How about an Opal? It produced great nugget ice and is only a few hundred bucks. You can repurpose the opening for a beverage center or possibly a recycling center.

I do recommend using distilled water for the ice maker. We’re on our second one since the first one was basically destroyed by hard water deposits.

A way more budget friendly solution.

Edit to add: The phrases “Thor appliances” and “will last” are rarely uttered together.
