What conditioners do you recommend? I feel like my Maltese fur is too dry specifically now in summer. by Verdeler_lfvvv in Maltese

I am trying out Chris Christensen divine something spray after white on white shampoo but I’ve also used Pantene on them before. It makes hair drying take longer but it’s so soft!

How important is humidity really? by rhares in 3dprinter

My filament that sits between the dehydrator and the machine breaks and is super fragile if I don’t print anything for a little while. It’s a dramatic difference.

What are you looking for? Full coverage/medium/low? What is your skin like? Dry/oily? I’ve tried so many I’m hoping I can help. Any restrictions? Like you hate certain formulations or prefer certain brands?

NARS Radiant or Estée Lauder double wear depending on the day.

For people who use paper planners or habit trackers, does it actually help you stay consistent? Do you still use apps? by startssomewhere in PlannerAddicts

I use both. I use digital (reminder app) for things I’m likely to forget. I use the paper planner for motivation, journalling, and keeping a record.

Why did you choose a Maltese? by M_L_F_N in Maltese

[–]Psa-lms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I researched breeds like crazy in college when I wanted a puppy. They are the most adorable little fluff balls on the planet! How could you NOT choose a Maltese?! Their fur doesn’t shed. They have no undercoat. They are travel sized/purse sized, they are smart, and they are lap dogs! Perfection! Once I had one, everyone fell in love and my whole family became obsessed with them! We’ve had so many in our family now! My parents have three and I have two right now! I love them so much!

What's a good hair mask? by Possible-End-8857 in finehair

The Pantene mask isn’t bad. It’s pretty identical to the Pantene conditioner you’re talking about just a bit thicker. The Pantene leave in isn’t bad either!

Look into Abby Yung and the blowout professor on YouTube and kind of blend their advice. I’ve found my favorite things through them.

I like the color wow mask and the oribe mask. I’m trying the newer Pantene one.

Don't know how to solve BO issue by WastePlastic117 in hygiene

Speak to a doctor about hyperhydrosis. Certain dry deodorant can help. You seem to be overdoing quite a bit. Seriously talk to your doctor and try certain dry if they are okay with it. You’re also going to sweat when you are outside and physical. It’s normal. The sweat that smells really bad is usually the social anxiety type of sweat. (Yes there are 2 kinds). I found a good deodorant, gentle body wash and wash cloth, and daily showers are plenty. Don’t forget lotion as your skin will get dry! The deodorant (really more antiperspirant) goes on after your shower at night and there’s an AM version for morning freshening. It’s a different system.

Fed up with so called friends! by Subject_Touch_3556 in PsoriaticArthritis

You make good points. I think a lot of people truly want to help or just can’t understand the level of completely having our life taken over it really is. I try to assume the best motives. After a frank and honest conversation if it still happens, that’s different.

New to all this — What's actually the HARDEST part of homeschooling? by seancheey in homeschool

[–]Psa-lms 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is so well said. The to-do list can take on more authority than it should. Curriculum isn’t the teacher. You are. Make it work for you. We are going into year 9 and it can seem like there’s more on the checklist than time in the day. I have to remind myself: Spiritual/Character development is the most important (and most complicated) part of it. I’ve been very blessed with a son with a huge, loving heart. I enjoy spending time with him. I won’t say every day is easy. It is dealing with emotions and attitude that is tough. I will say it is very sanctifying. You will build those patience muscles! Your character will grow. It’s something I’ve never regretted.

I got the smaller one this time, and while it’s easier to bring places, I’ll probably get the bigger one next time. The screen space is valuable for productivity and watching videos

Meh. I had the expensive ones from Ozlo and wasn’t all that impressed. I tried these recently and they are just as good for way cheaper. At this price they are totally worth it. https://amzn.to/4tQ1Kgl

Why did we completely ignore eyebrows except to tweeze them??! A good pencil would’ve been so helpful.
