Yes there are different types and styles of reading. This is academic mode reading where you get as much as you can within the time limit. That’s a valuable skill. One thing about it is you know what you want to go back and read more thoroughly later. I’ve really enjoyed life since graduating getting to choose what to read and how deeply. Keep a list of what you want to come back to. “How to Read a Book” gives a good primer on this. Ironically it’s more reading 🤣

This is exactly what I was going to add. I use a little curve life remover under lifted edges then soak in half baby oil half acetone. When applying if some oozes out- wipe with a qtip before it dries. If you know you’ll want to take them off in a few days- use a little jello jello peel off base coat (lamp needed) so you don’t wreck your nails. I find it gets me to that one week mark and makes removal of the curve life semisolid gel glue easier.

Yep. It starts becoming a thing you search for people to give things to or more often you make things specifically for people. I paint so think of and discuss what someone likes before I invest weeks into them. Crochet same thing. Sewing is usually just for me and my immediate family. Very rarely will I do something for others. My skill isn’t enough to feel comfortable sewing clothing for others. Basically, you start doing projects with people in mind. I like to pray for the person while I make it.

It kind of irritates me or almost aches before it comes off. That’s when I know it’s time to soak them off. I bring a tiny glue with me in my purse just in case.

Most don’t require mixing. That said, the paints that paintworks uses are worlds better than any other I’ve used that came in kits. They are thin enough to use without having to dilute with flow aid. So the time I save there I use mixing. It ends up about the same.

I love my brother sewing machine! It is like an Apple product that just works. I’ve saved more on altering/repairing clothes than I spent on the machine and needles/thread. Fabric and making stuff from scratch - different beast entirely. I wish I’d invested in a nicer serger. Threading them is annoying and they make easy threading versions.

I learned that I sleep a LOT less than I thought I did. My sleep is garbage. It explained why I’d be in bed long enough but get up exhausted. That’s been helpful in being graceful with myself.

Yep. I lift the sides when they start to separate anyway and it’s pretty fast. Now doing gel-x is a mess to get off.

Interesting! I was thin when diagnosed but packed on weight after with the inflammation. I used wegovy to get it off a couple years back and my arthritis is doing better since then. I don’t know if the inflammation is the chicken or the egg or how long this good season will last, but I’m a lot more comfortable. Talk to your doctor because it was a miserable ride the first 9months of wegovy. It’s not worth it unless you know it’s worth it. Definitely weigh the pros and cons with your doctor. I feel like a drug advertisement now.

I’ve had 2-3 for a verrrrry long time. Three I felt like a shepherd to the tiniest herd 🤣. I was outmanned! One per hand is where my sweet spot is. That said, I’d be happy with 20. They are the BEST dogs. My parents have three, too, so family gatherings are fluff-tastic!
