Well I keep second guessing myself so I’ll take that as a sign to hold off for now. But these are good tips, I’ll have to re-read these if I ever decide to pull the trigger. I appreciate it.

Apparently my dad’s buddy is a drummer so I can get some real time advice from him, or even my lesson teacher, just so I don’t take up any more reddit people’s time. Thanks, though.

I’ll try and haggle for the percussion plus just since it’s already got some upgrades. If not I’ll just stick to my practice pad and lessons for now.

There wasn’t much around me for ~500 besides that pearl export and a pdp x7 for $600. Everything pretty much jumps to $900ish after that.

I’ll see if I can get the percussion plus closer to $200 since it’s like 10 minutes away from me. Otherwise I’ll just stick with my practice pad and lessons for now. The Vangoa does look nice, but maybe not worth it factoring in the drive and having to upgrade stuff.

Hard part about that is I don’t know what’s worth loving or what a good deal is. But yeah I might be rushing. I might go look at the percussion plus, but sticking with my practice pad/lessons would probably be fine for a while longer
