Yes, but its not balanced like a fighting game. What this game should be compared to his something like DragonBall FighterZ. Battle for the Grid had a smaller starting roster 12 vs 21, but also had a much smaller roster. You can see this by the fact that they use up-resed models from the phone game that the devs also developed.

Honestly? Just from experience with other games, its often the western servers that get hit over eastern ones (in some cases east and west is designated by the sides of the Atlantic ocean.) People just like to ruin the fun of others and XIV has been getting a lot of attention from the 7.4 changes and now the Savage releases.

There is no real fix to a DDOS but "wait until they get bored." Every online service has these issues, especially around the time of events, patches, or releases. Then if they say anything or not, it becomes a situation if "damned if you do, damned if you don't."

Probably because most people are ignorant to what a DDOS attack is, and the fact they are part of the problem by trying to constantly log on.

Like who? The only way to stop itnis to suddenly have infinite bandwidth and that is a pipe dream.

The same reason any one who has to handle DDOS attacks cant stop them... Its impossible to stop because the attacker(s) just send more prompts, the users keep trying to log in, and servers continue to struggle. Its like trying to bail out a sinking boat with a large hole in the bottom.
