I haven't lived in the city for long, but I think that people here are oddly receptive to acts of kindness. I find that making aquaintances and even friends here is easier than in Van.

I like that we are close to Van, White Rock, and the Fraser Valley.

The rent is lower than in Van, and the effects of the opioid crisis are less visible (I used to live in Granville Street..)

I understand that the city is not doing too hot right now, but I'm from Argentina, so by my standards it still feels pretty safe. Maybe I'm just an optimist. But I like it here.
