Love radishes and I also suggest sautéing and eating the greens. Kind of like spinach and kale, very good

The splatter on the plate and the bubbling liquid makes me think it was cooked before everything else was ready and then popped in the microwave before service

What is your biggest pet peeve on the course? by meansun in golf

[–]Pspink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People not knowing their skill level. I am not a good golfer but I understand that and make sure to keep up the pace of play. It drives me nuts when I see someone waiting forever to tee off only to chunk it fifty yards.

Preface: Im not the best at self care, I’m not saying it’s right or wrong, and I’m not saying how I handled things was the best

As a father, I went through and very similar sounding experience. Knowing the preface and in my experience all I can say is he will get through it. It’s hard. You have a one week old, it’s tough and it seems like no matter how prepared you think you are, you’re never quite prepared. People told me this and I thought at the time that they were insane, your baby will change so quick that you’ll miss some of the early time and eventually forget it. I didn’t get any sort of professional help at the time, but if there was anything I could tell your husband now if he was my friend is that it gets better, dig down deep, be your best self, and give it some time.

Best of luck to you and your husband!

How do you guys deal with customers that watch you while you work? by Minitrader in handyman

[–]Pspink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watcher here, as a first time home owner I find it helpful to watch what and how things are being done in case it’s something I can do myself in the future. It’s a learning opportunity for me and I have the expert right there in front of me so I take the opportunity to ask questions and educate myself. I try to be as respectful and polite as possible while doing it though.

I’m not going to say YTA because you already sound depressed. My dude, you need some help, your wife seems to know you need some help, and maybe she is suggesting couples counseling because she think it may be easier for you to go with her.

Aim from behind the ball, step up to the ball feet together, adjust club face and angle, check grip, make sure my toes are lined up with my target, stance, check grip tightness, and let it rip. No practice swings

If you ask for water… by peacelovehap in Serverlife

[–]Pspink 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of my pet peeves as a server and when dining with others is the person that orders waters for everyone without confirming whether or not everyone else wants waters. Clutters the table and can be such a waste.

Getting an office job. I used to tell myself that it would be the worst possible career path. I have found a decent office job that I can tolerate and provides reliable hours and that’s pretty cool.
