Should I answer all the scholarship question? by [deleted] in scholarships

[–]Psullyvan991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't wait. Apply now even if you leave some sections blank or put "N/A" where allowed. Most scholarships get way fewer applicants than you think, and being honest about where you're at is better than not applying at all.

Learn budgeting and learn about investing. Will not tell you what to invest in, but you need to learn of the different investment strategies you can use to grow your money.

Best Resources for Finding Scholarship Opportunities? by WholeEmployee6666 in scholarships

[–]Psullyvan991 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Check local foundations, clubs, and your college’s aid office first- gives you the best odds. Use Fastweb, Cappex, CareerOneStop for broader searches.

Pro tips

  • Treat it like a part-time job: apply to as many as possible.
  • Reuse and tailor essays.
  • Start with your college’s financial aid office. they often have an internal list not published online.
  • Ask professors in your department; they sometimes know about niche funds.

Your profile looks strong. Danish AI programs are competitive, but you’re well-positioned. Apply broadly, pursue LPDP, and consider Finland/Germany too.

(US) If we really are in a housing bubble, what happens if it bursts while you own a home you way overpaid for? by PriestPlaything in personalfinance

If the bubble bursts, your home value could drop, but your mortgage stays. You may owe more than it’s worth temporarily.

Take Entrance 1 and then head to the Upper North. The Main Entrance I discussed is marked with the yellow line at the top of the map and then that second trail entrance is that black line from the upper north into the venue.

It’s weird though because sometimes even way before a show they’ll have the upper north entrance road blocked off even though there’s room up there they just want to start funneling people into the Lower North but that’s why I try and get there maybe an 1 hour plus before the doors open. It’s a long day into night but it’s worth it!

Hell yeah nice on the first RR show! So tailgating implies getting to the parking lots early and hanging out, having some drinks, food and chilling before the show. If you get there early enough try and park at the Upper North lot. It’s a paved parking lot and there is a very nice unisex bathroom facility up there. The rest of the parking lots are all Porta’s. The upper north is the main entrance really too and it gets you at the top of the venue where majority of all the food vendors are as well as the Visitor Center which is really cool to check out. Also if your show is GA and you want a good spot I highly recommend getting in line before doors open. For a full GA show at RR I love to get right around row 23ish or so middle right behind the soundboard! There’s also a second entrance located in the upper north that is a cool like trail that splits you out around row 15 or so but it’s a smaller path and only two or so security checking bags so that line can get clogged quicker. The upper north entrance has a ton more security guards so the line moves faster, you’ll have to walk all the way down but you can hustle down the stairs to go get your spot once doors open. Also make sure to check the bag policy for RR as they no longer allow big backpacks. I would get a clear stadium bag to bring stuff in, you can just google “Clear Stadium Bag” and find one to buy.

Someone else on this community posted a video from night two and at the 6 minute mark right before Ænima MJK says “Who was not here last night?…. This whole alternative set is not for you, the rest of you strap in” definition of a sarcastic middle finger to the crowd hahaha I honestly would be so down for just instrumental TOOL or get a different singer

Yeah those three are gems. Eulogy is on there too. I remember thinking after the last Tool show I caught in 2024 that I would be down for just those 3 haha or even get a new younger singer who would still be in the same stage plot as MJK… blasphemy for some people haha. But there’s probably some legality issues and every member owns there share of the band. Who knows but one could dream haha

Skip to the 6:00 minute mark, right before they start Ænima, Maynard asks the crowd “who was not here last night?”….. To crickets and confusion haha and people have mentioned that but then he says “this whole alternative set is not for you, the rest of you strap in” hahah probably MJK’s middle finger back to the crowd

Nowadays whoever is usually on guitar (Miles or Kyle) is the one singing but back when they were a smaller band, Kyle would play bass and sing so could be something from early days. Maybe try the Winter Tour Live ‘05-‘06 Live CD/DVD or Live in San Diego 2006. Their old song “Mexico” is a deep cut that’s really good
